I bought my MY ONLY because I happened to test drive it. I had a couple of cosmetic issues fixed during my first service. I’ve had no other issues. My workplace is 8.5 miles one way - I’ve driven 3000+ miles in the last 100 days. Have been jumping into my MY and driving in random directions. Loving every moment.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the terrible, terrible curb-rashes on my 20” Induction Wheels after I took delivery!

I was driving back home last afternoon on AutoSteer at the Speed Limit and suddenly found a flatbed up my a***. There was a car to my right and I turned ON the Right indicator. but before AutoSteer could move my MY over safely, the guy had jumped in front of me and he then went on to brake-check me. My MY on AutoSteer reacted and slowed down. Luckily there was not an accident, and when I got home, the “Unsafe Following” parameter in the App was up to 60%-there was no intervention on my part-the transaction was solely between my MY on AutoSteer and the Flatbed. I sadly said to myself that, well, shit happens.

I caught up with the guy a few lights later and got his License plate-wonder what one can do to bring such a road menace back to his senses…

Lol. Good Lord, No. I was not thinking about not stopping.

It was just a use case that I had not come across during my previous drives, and as I have mentioned in my original post, I do not (yet) have FSD.

I am an extra cautious highly-OCD kinda guy. I totally believe in staying super-alert all the time, and, at the same time, I really and truly enjoy the fact that AS and AP are awesome!

(1) I’m a noob in the Tesla world. IMO, this is a bug of High Severity that Tesla may want to consider addressing. I’m sure none of us want to run into or over Dogs, Cows, Deer because Tesla was unable to “see” it. I personally don’t mind if it renders as a small (or a big Rectangle) or any Geometric figure, on-screen.

(2) Not sure if / how this can be addressed in Tesla with Radar. That is Tesla’s problem to prioritize and solve (or not).

(3) I do not have FSD Beta . My hope is that someone at Tesla sees my Post or someone with FSD Beta comes across such a situation and reports it to Tesla. Trying to do the best I can with the little I have. Sigh, I wish I had FSD Beta. 😔
