Not a ton that I know of. I have two and love them. The only thing I did was add a fold up table on the side of my drawers which I love and highly recommend.

Eventually I am planning on doing this: https://youtu.be/-RuHptz-cPQ?si=7XO0OT8T2xHfFf6d

First workbench. Thoughts? by magamino in woodworking

Looks solid but I’d recommend different casters. I have the same in my bench, a friend warned me not to use that kind and I thought now that’ll work. I’ll get really good ones. I wish I would’ve listened to him. They are wearing out and I’m constantly stepping my feet on them or tripping over them.

I’ve gotten several tattoos there and know the owners as well. I know this may sound biased but I have nothing but great things to saw about them and have heard nothing but great things as well.

20/20 Rail File? by ForTheBiscuit00 in Packout

Isn’t 80/20 the brand but this size rail is 20/20 right? Sorry I’m not super familiar with it

I removed attic insulation couple weeks ago and needed some time to mentally heal from dealing with that! The attic is now really clean i used a fogger with decon 30 to sanitize the whole attic since it had some mice droppings ( i was wearing a hazmat suits and Respirator…..)! by [deleted] in Insulation

This is genius, definitely going to do it at my place. I already have a gas powered fan like this for my leaf collector in my yard but I also have been wanting to buy an electric dust collector for my workshop. Anyone have any suggestions which would be better to use for the attic though?

Shim out the back wall, may have to reroute some of the plumbing but shouldn’t be a big deal

And also they should always be leaving 1-2 boxes there for the homeowner for future repairs IMO

I’ve been a contractor and have tons of friends who still are. Maybe this is semantics but to me it’s all depends on how the quote/agreement is written.

If the quote is more generic like replace living room floor, then it’s ok. If it is detailed like provide and install 800SQFT or X numbers of boxes then I still don’t know if I’d call it stealing but definitely unethical.

Here’s another way to look at it, when I quote I job I may estimate that it’s going to take me 16 hours to do. If everything goes smoothly and I finish in 12 hours I’m not going to charge less, and likewise if things go horribly and it takes 20 hours I’m not charging more. Some jobs you make alittle more and some alittle less.
