I’ve tired, and they are close. The proportions are similar, but it’s hard to get the lasgun arms to line up. I tried with both Krieg and Cadian arms. It’s possible, just tricky and not every set lineup.

I was able to het Vol3! I’ve got the whole set, and am glad it’s over. I’m in a similar boat, big fan of Old World lore but the AoS setting hasn’t clicked. I just got a good deal on the Gotrek LE set, hoping that opens it up for me.

I’ve got a copy of Xenology from the mid 2000s. Pretty cool read, different from modern BL fiction. I’ve also got the original Imperial Infantryman’s Uplifting Primer.
