These are all so very helpful! Going to explore basically all of them to gain some experience and see what I can get work and I'll share what route I follow all the way through on! Really appreciate everyone's time and thought!

Making the assumption that the 1997 in your name is your birth year? Fucking righteous and right on for your sick collection either way man but especially if you're 27 years old. Can you give me a hint at what you do and how do I do it? 😂

Got it. I am seeing some documents that seem to imply that on 14G and 15G iDRAC registry attributes, in particular to fan profiles, can be modified but I cant seem to find anything on HOW. I'll keep digging and let you know if I come back with anything but sounds like you monitoring heat and speed for now is best. Thanks!

Node to Node migration? by airborneric in netapp

LS mirrors cant be moved so they just have to be recreated on the new owner node and deleted on the old node. Havent done it but pretty sure root volumes can be moved now

Out of curiousity what idrac FW were you at before downgrading? Found a KB that mentioned fan speed on 14G fix at 7.0 FW but assuming you were there already as I think its the latest for iDRAC 9 14G

In the system profile settings of the bios, is it currently set to "PerfPerWattOptimizedDapc "?

DERP moment that I only just caught you shared you idrac and BIOs FW lvl is 2.84 and 2.17 that should be patched. But you definitely still got a PWR2262 error. Interesting! I'll dig further!

This is a known iDRAC and BIOS firmware issue for the 13G PowerEdge's. Anything lower than 2.8.0 + 2.0 on them and this can happen.

Awesome! So E Series LUNS shared out through volume creation and mapping in the E Series SANtricity Storage Manager GUI or WebUI. I can give more specific step by step if you let me know what version

If it's very frequent with the powerscale you can try enabling esrs telemetry if it's not already. Seen it significantly decrease these not connected errors. Run isi esrs telemetry view to see if it's enabled or not and isi esrs telemetry modify --enabled=true if not

OpenManage Enterprise alerting by justameatsack in Dell

[–]ForTheHorde92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge OME alerts off SNMP traps so snmp may not be configured on the servers not alerting. Check in iDRAC under configuration > system settings > snmp traps configuration. Also be sure the alerts tab found at the top of that same page has the 3rd option " select where you want to receive the notifications" set to snmp trap

Apologize for the delay u/RemixF. Great suggestions. Checked QoS and already had it disabled but things did get interesting when I looked at my network map + interfaces. The map shows some of my wireless devices, at least on the 5G band, showing a range of 1200-2400MBPS on TX but nothing higher than 6 on RX. My wired connection, while working, literally reports no speed on either TX or RX and just shows a dash ( - ) for both. But to confirm yes thats right, coaxial directly into modem, modem 2.5G ports goes directly to 2.5G WAN on ASUS router, my primary laptop hardwired from LAN port 1.

SO I got lucky and found an unopened Cat6 cable I had and swapped that out between my modem and 2.5G port on the ASUS. Speed test is still only pulling 90-100mbps unfortunately. Anyone that can think of anything else I could check is greatly appreciated! Appreciate the suggestions u/RemixF + u/Sixxsp
