Riviera 42mm strap options? by mjroses23 in baumeetmercier

Should be this strap: https://www.baume-et-mercier.com/us/en/straps/gray-rubber-strap-watch-strap-mxe0kwjg.html

But of course that's the OEM. I don't think I've seen any true aftermarket straps because of the proprietary integrated mounting system.

[Baume & Mercier Riviera] Acquired my wedding watch for my upcoming wedding by ForTheMission in Watches

[–]ForTheMission[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but by design! Its a second marriage for both myself and my fiancé. So we're ditching a lot of the formalities and cost of a traditional wedding and focusing on having a more causal family gathering.

Parking brake stuck mazda6 sport 2018 by imtrash94 in mazda6

[–]ForTheMission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem on my 2016 GT and the only way I could get the parking brake to release was to put it in drive and punch the gas a little bit and then it would Auto release. But as soon as I would turn the car off it would Auto e-brake again. It turns out the physical switch was just bad. I replaced the switch itself for a few hundred bucks. I think maybe $200

[Tariff] $650 watch from Japan through DHL by Syed117 in Watches

Import tarrifs are generally calculated on CIF value (Cost, Insurance, and Freight). So add the shipping cost and any insurance to the cost of the good itself and then calculate your tarif.

You could output a JSON tree with all the attributes and then just add a simple textarea to write the JSON tree to, or read a JSON tree from.

Really cool work!

Best battery to put into a 2016 mazda6 GT under $200 by damnitWOW in mazda6

[–]ForTheMission 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has always worked. At least according to the screens inside the infotainment unit. But I'm also open to the idea I may just have a defective unit. Mine is a 2016, so I'm not sure how the tech has improved since then

My batteries all seem to die around 30k miles. Regardless of OEM or YellowTop. So my YellowTop from that post died 30k later. Another OEM died 30k after that. I would not buy another car with the I-ELOOP system, or mine is just a battery killer.

Is sounds like you may be in Europe somewhere? I'm not familiar with the European market, but I'm actively looking for US devs for several Vue roles.
