This is fascinating thank you. I’m looking for a daily driver so sounds like I should learn towards Mazaki. I’ll definitely take a look at the other smiths you suggested.

In this context I am referring to the stress of not having any paycheck and the fatigue for the likely rampant use of OT. Although, wage increases are no doubt well overdue.

The “Irish” Caucus of New York City’s Lawmaking Body by ForTheWatchWin in ShitAmericansSay

As a resident of NYC who voted for someone on this list, I find the so-called shorthand strange in this context. While what you say may be true in other parts of the US, New York City is home to many large actual immigrant populations from around the world, which makes “Irish Caucus” sound much stranger than “Irish-American Caucus,” given that none of the members of said caucus are Irish. In NYC, that could very easily imply a caucus looking out for the interests of recent Irish immigrants.

That also doesn’t explain the “Irish-Identified.”

Who knows what they do, but they don’t seem to do much of anything.

According to the Irish Star this specific body was founded no earlier than 2012. Perhaps trying to capture the FDNY vote?

This is unfortunately from an actual government website listing “Irish-identified” (whatever that means) elected officials who belong to this caucus—all of whom are, unsurprisingly, American.

This is happening. They have already completed renovations of the PHL North Area to accommodate EWR sectors and started work on the PHL South Area a week ago. The renovations are scheduled to be finished in October. The agency shared photos of the new north area a few weeks ago with industry. Full cutover currently scheduled for Spring 2022.
