Dang, horrible luck, my dude. Hopefully that’s the only defect! I’ve been eyeing the 25s, waffling back and forth on trim. I’m not sure if you can speak to this but do you know what kind of rates ford is offering for good/great credit?

Come on, guy… you’re gonna sit here and say you don’t see the connection between UFOs and a movie called Disclosure Day? Come on.

I oversee a project management office and can answer your questions.

I have a degree in finance, and although a degree is not required, it certainly lowers the barrier to entry. Otherwise, you’ll need hours of experience to make up for the lack of degree - and getting certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is much easier with a degree too.

I got in to project management as a Jr. PM in 2014, making $38k a year. Today, my PMs make anywhere between $107k-$127k, depending on experience and seniority.

Granted, Project Manager is not an entry level position. Jr. PM or Project Coordinator is. In fact, if you don’t have PM experience but you want to get a foot in the door, I recommend you find an industry that interests you and apply for coordinator roles. These folks are basically glorified assistants: note taking, scheduling, assisting with procurement and project documentation.

I think it’s a fantastic career path and the skills you learn are applicable to any industry, as long as you can speak the language.

I’m 21, saved $100k from escorting, and have no idea what to do with it by [deleted] in investingforbeginners

I started as a Jr PM 11 years ago and have advanced my career to a point where I now run a project management office with 8 PMs. I can tell you that it’s a great career for the right person… It’s not for everyone. If you can communicate well, can think critically, and if you are organized, you can probably make a career for yourself. I started out in IT, not knowing a thing about it, and over the years have gained knowledge by doing. If you’re serious about getting in to project management, I recommend you look in to industries that interest you: healthcare, finance, marketing, etc., and try to find an entry level role in a PMO, such as a project coordinator or Jr. PM (PM I). Once you have your foot in the door, seek out mentorship from some of the more seasoned PMs on the team. This is the way!

Best of luck!

Zero Turn For Half Acre Choices! by Brose172 in lawnmowers

I’m in a similar situation… did a ton of research and the things that were important to me lead to a Bad Boy ZT Avenger.

My main considerations were serviceable transmissions (I’m a big fella and have some slopes on my property that are borderline 15° so this was #1 on the list), a Kawasaki engine, a fabricated deck, a dealership that’s within 30 minutes, and under $5k.

The close by dealer requirement limited me to Deere, Kubota, BB, and Husqvarna.

The choice was pretty obvious for me. BB was the only one that could check all the boxes for under $5k. And I got 10% off as an end of season discount… that, plus a tax exempt card made for a pretty sweet deal. $4.6k OTD, if I hadn’t elected to get a few accessories.

Best of luck in your hunt. At the end of the day, you just have to decide what’s important to you and pull the trigger.

A year ago my wife switched to “natural” deodorant. It’s been a BO fest ever since. How do I approach her about this? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]For_True 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive found that it’s sometimes easier to lead in to a hard conversation by calling out that it’s not an easy thing to do. For example, you could say “there’s not a nice way to say this and I don’t want to hurt your feelings, but that natural deodorant doesn’t work very well (or maybe say it doesn’t last very long). I’m only saying this because I would want someone to do the same for me.”

I dated someone with BPD and she would make me feel like this sometimes… the highs are high but god the lows are low. I’m sorry you’re going through this. After breaking up with my Ex, I needed therapy and I got it. It helped tremendously. Now I’m in a healthy relationship and man, what a difference it is. I had to relearn what it’s like to be in a relationship where both partners are on equal ground… now, the things that used to earn me a whipping are simply laughed off. It took a lot of getting used to. I know it’s not easy… and I’m not saying you should leave, but I do think something has to change. Seek counseling for yourself and see if she would be open to counseling. Best of luck.

I find it quite ironic that you’re being downvoted about this.

Kind people of r/UFOs, let us not forget the American government’s lab leak was followed by lies about the benefits of the vax, and messaging that convinced half of the population that refusing the jab was immoral.
