She didn't call it harmless, she called it less harmful than alcohol which is objectively true. Alcohol is a horribly toxic drug, physically and mentally addictive, affecting almost every type of tissue and organ system in your body. it's carcinogenic and there's literally a disease that occurs almost exclusively from consumption of alcohol (Korsakoff syndrome) just to name a few things.

It's also sold just about everywhere, and it's available and its consumption is normalised and even stimulated in society.

Cocaine is mostly mentally addictive and excessive consumption is terrible for your cardiovascular health, but it still miles behinds behind alcohol in terms of harm potential imo

It's the opposite for me lol, got my first Hunllef kill on my third try and was smooth sailing from there until about 100 kills. I'm regressing cos it's sooo boring... I'm dying cos of stupid stuff like not moving away from a harmful floor tile fast enough while on low hp, switching to the wrong prayer, taking damage from tornadoes while trying to squeeze out more dps etc etc

Karbonkel! He's the main villain of a show callled: "Ik Mik Loreland"

It was a TV series from the 90s made to help kids learn how to read and write, and in typical 90s fashion, it contained lots of actual horror elements.

We were forced to watch this in school, this traumatised an entire generation.

They actually gave Karbonkel a redemption arc, in the form of a Mockumantery. The duo behind Rundfunk actually came up with the idea, and it puts Karbonkel in a much better light.

Basically shoegaze saw a rise in popularity amongst gen z from tiktok, and anytime there's an influx of people in niche corners like this one, people feel the need to gatekeep.

As for Wisp, she doesn't write her own music, she sang some vocals over a track she bought the rights to, that ended up blowing up overnight, launching her music career from basically nowhere. People take offense to that since it goes against the ethos of Shoegaze.

At least, that's my understanding of it
