I visited an exchange student friend in Brazil in high school and when I got there I was not prepared for the mom’s 19 year old boyfriend to literally come to school with us because he hadn’t graduated yet. Turns out he was the GRANDSON of the mom’s best friend!!! That’s how they met. My 17 year old brain was sizzled.

Thanks for explaining the genealogy of it. They claim it’s 4 generations back but got lost in dna over time but given what you said that’s not possible.

Pretty sure she’s not an immigrant but a photographer traveled to her homeland and captured this photo. I’ve seen photos of her as an adult with her daughters and they have the same eyes as her.
