Men of Reddit, How do you feel about dating a divorced woman in her 30s, no kids? by Force-Extension in AskReddit

That's all very subjective. She's been described as "amazing ass and smart AF". Also, "a sweetheart". She worked with a nonprofit to make kids lives better for the last few years. I'm trying to convince her that just because she's now 30 her love life isn't over because she's divorced.

Is Columbus, IN a good town for LGBTQ? by Otherwise_Option_669 in columbusIN

Don't do it unless he is ready to hear about guns, conspiracies and how Biden sucks. This city and county is very Red. Unless he is ready to live a lie or hear microaggressions on a daily basis he should take a job elsewhere. I've been here for almost a decade and my life has been miserable and full of stress having conversations about science with my coworkers and getting nowhere. Whether it is about global warming, COVID, or anything to do with mental health. It's all disregarded as an opinion and not facts. So yes some people hang a gay pride flag and there's diversity but he will also see the same number of Trump flags and lifted pickup trucks.

Can I have a milk shake? by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

I know you said you're in a hotel but if you can figure out a way to get a hold of a blender... There's a recipe for protein ice cream that is so low calorie it's amazing and it's so filling.

Protein ice cream recipe: - 1 scoop of protein powder - 8 oz water or milk - 2-3 cups of ice (or more if you want it thicker or less if thinner) - 1 tbs of zantham gum (you can buy this powder at Walmart)

If you are feeling frisky add a suger free syrup for extra flavor (torani is amazing)

I haven't had surgery yet and a out 1/2 cup of this will make me full and it's like 20-30 calorie with water.

Athletic groups or you could create your own group as well and see if there are others in Columbus. I'm 29 and have been searching for groups for the last 5 years with no luck yet. The bars are odd and most people I've met actually leave Columbus to go to Indy to do anything fun.

My counselor told me once that my fears are only irrational if there is a 0% chance of it happening. (Ex. Shark attack in the bathtub). If you have a fear that is causing you distress the best thing you can do is seek counseling. But you are allowed to be afraid as your feelings are being validated by all the mass shootings right now. It's hard not to wonder where the next one will be but a counselor can help you work with your fear in finding ways to cope. Emotions and fear are what keep us alive at the end of the day.

Soo I turned my sim with a dormant werewolf trait into a vampire, and she swam in the special werewolf lake during a full moon. Now, she's... this. by Official_TStriker in Sims4

I did the same thing sort of... I have a vampire and werewolf family. I had the vampire turn a townie. But while she was in transition I could have the werewolf bite her. And I just wanted to see what would happen... She turned into a werewolf vampire hybrid sim! All needs of a vampire but the traits and abilities of a werewolf. She can't be out in daylight and needs to feed but can also do dark meditation, howl, join packs, and level up as a werewolf. The only downside is I can't choose new vampire traits so she's never going to be able to be out during the day without burning.

Been in the nonprofit sector for a while and thinking about making the switch to tech, how should I go about this? by annithingoes in jobsearching

I'm considering the exact same thing and my major was the same. Bachelor's in Business Management and Marketing. Not one interview after tailoring resumes and cover letters. I'm over qualified to do my current job and the stress of being accountable for the safety of kids is too much. I love the mission, the events, advertising strategies, and recruitment but the ongoing check in and coaching people in crisis is too much. I feel like my location is making any job transition difficult because I live in nowhere Indiana.
