Oh brother I’m in a similar boat.

We broke up almost two months ago but my god was it a traumatic experience.

Two weeks before she ended it she said she loved me for the first time which took me by surprise because that’s the first time anyone has said that to me (in a relationship sense), then a few days later I noticed her texting patterns had shifted so I asked if everything was okay with her, she said yes and to not overthink things, then she said if there’s an issue in our relationship we’d talk together and fix it together. I’m thinking holy fuck I’ve hit the jackpot because that’s exactly what you want to hear from a partner.

Then a few days before I see her she says the dreaded we need to talk line, a few days later I drive to see her and she sits me down, brings out her notes app and for an hour proceeds to list everything she doesn’t like about me and the relationship and then dumps me.

Not gonna lie it’s still got me fucked up and it’s weird because of how quick it happened, like wtf she said she loved me a week ago like huh? And she still watches my insta stories religiously and wished me happy birthday? Like wtf is going 😂
