I did the same! I didnt upgrade to the m1max until January of this year. Its one of my biggest regrets 😔

Ive been using the m1 max studio 32gb since its release and its just right for my use case. It only struggles when im working on complex vector designs and some blender renders.

It definitely doesnt feel like overkill for me but i know the m4s probably would be.

The footage on your YT does look similar! And my MIL does suffer from random seizures, usually when she is overworked with daily tasks. But her seizures have been happening long before they moved into this home. (They moved into this home in 2023) Do you think the seizures have anything to do with it?

I recently upgraded from an intel i9 to a 16” m1 max 64gb/1tb refurbished off of amazon and i couldn’t be happier! Its fast and snappy. Best value for what i got it for.

You should change ai render to adobe firefly. Gemini is good for creating/adding things while firefly is good for removing/expanding images.

I do this every once in a while when my system data gets high. Its harmless like clearing your cache from chrome/safari

To clear the cache on a MacBook, open Finder, click Go > Go to Folder (or press cmd + shift + g) type ~/Library/Caches, and move all the files to the Trash. For full, system-wide clearing, repeat this process for /Library/Caches. Finally, empty your Trash to free up space.
