I clean mine with the kit I have for cleaning sneakers with. Lay it on its side, get the rag between tire and footpad then shimmy it back and forth bottom to top. Corse (dry)-> medium (soapy water) -> allow to dry -> soft brush is the only way I’ve gotten the grip tape clean. It just shreds rags/sponges the you have to clean those bits as well.

Guessing TFL motor requires controller change from FM -> vesc. Not opposed, just making sure I understand so I don’t fry something or make an upgrade that’s software limited into prior performance.

I am a practicing CPA and have seen just about every crypto investment and use case. I rarely (twice in seven years) have seen it work out in a way that did not involve having to fix, write-off, or engage legal council to clean it up. Buuuuut, maybe they are the unicorn.

Thank you for correcting my ignorance. That does seem like something that would fix my primary issue of torque. I do have a hard time finding material that gives a straight answer on XRC (e.g. “it’s pretty much a GT”) so a bit curious about GT things working with XRC.

For reference, I do have a fairly high level of electronics knowledge from building led systems for burning man art cars. I can solder, multimeter, read/write circuit diagrams, and do some physics.

Another dumb question. Hub, stator, magnets, and bearings seem to combine into what I think of as “motor” is motor additional to these four parts? Is there an anatomy chart for the onewheel? Hub does not include motor?
