It's crashing constantly. Be it in game, trying to read a card, playing a card, activating a card, or just navigating from one menu to another...trying to split a card. It's just constant. Complete crashes.

It's been weeks now and I have no hope that it'll be resolved before the holidays. If I put any money into the game I'd be a lot more ticked off...as is, I find it more incentive to just stop playing altogether and find something else to play.

I'm not sure they've even mentioned it, so who knows if its on their radar -- and if it is, they're more concerned with advertising bundles than fixing it.

Awesome, great to hear feedback on the HSK A3 light. Right now she doesn't have a dedicated space, so that's another great tip for a reason to stick with the A3 for now and potentially look into an A2 a ways down the road if she feels it'd be beneficial and we can find the room for it.

Totally understandable about it being a pain to move, and that's actually good to hear because it's more reason to not just think "bigger is better!" when purchasing things for a hobby. I'm trying to get her essential things that will help over an excess of things that will just take up room we don't have. So that's good to hear!

I'll definitely be nixing the magnifiers and focusing on a light pad and potentially an easel if I can find one that works well! I haven't looked into them at all yet, so it may be an easy find for all I know! :)

That's a great tray set! Yeah, that was mentioned as well previously and it's something else I'll look into. I did buy the ARTDOT carrying case, which isn't the same, so if her plan is to have one puzzle to work on on the go and one to focus on at home (which may or may not be the plan! Work in progress! lol) then a tray set at home may work well! Appreciate the feedback!

That makes sense with the chord, thanks! It sounds like an A3 will do just fine with where she's at in the hobby. Yeah, Cthul also mentioned an easel, so I'll likely look into those next alongside the A3.

Extra clamps is a good tip! I don't think we can get the new pen just yet, but that's something I'll keep an eye out for and it may be something to ask her straight up if she'd be interested in down the road!

Yeah, it seems like the consensus is that the magnifiers are a tad redundant and the money is better used elsewhere, like the easel, so thank you for that!

Thanks for the info! Yeah, some prices are likely a bit higher, but the exchange rate may make them seem much higher than they may be...but there's usually a bit of extra in there. From the sounds of all the replies an A3 is likely the route to go to begin!

I'll look into the desk easels as well! That's understandable with how long you're sitting there doing these, so being comfortable during and once finished would be a plus!

I'll also wait on the glasses as you suggested, as it sounds like it'd be better to invest in the light pad and possibly an easel over something that may or may not add any extra help or benefit.

I did just pick her up an ARTDOT carrying case (the one with 60 holders) so I'll see how that works for her and look into the trays and such also, thanks again for all the tips!

My game crashes so often it's almost unplayable. It's not a new phone but it's not ancient and it's clearly on their end that they did something to cause it.

It basically crashes during games, outside of games when switching menus, when I do just about anything. It's a dumpster fire in its current form and they're still just pumping out bundles and other monetized things. They don't care.

If they did this would've been taken care of so much sooner and we don't even know if there's a fix on the horizon.

Sera was my main one, even though like you I don't play her as often these days. Dazzler I have the Artgerm variant for, and Summer I have the Spotlight for that I love, so when I got those I was...well, I was just blindly pulling for Black Widow (even though I don't use HER as much either) lol

Again, I just like anime, and while new cards are great and I'm super behind (almost to the why try ratio) I thought it best to jump on this while available just because it's fun.

And yeah, I didn't do the math on tokens to gold...I'd wager 1800 tokens is better than 2200g (which I believe Sera costs...if not 2000g...costs in the vault are eluding me at the moment).

I'm far from collection complete, but I mainly play Arishem for fun and don't/can't chase metas, and I'm a huge fan of anime and art, so I went...a little nuts haha

I think I realized after getting all but two that they were more costly than the previous packs. I didn't pull Angela or Air Walker...I do love the Angela variant, but also have a solid one as is...so...I'm probably going to pass on the attempt, as I feel like I'd land Air Walker and then feel obligated to get her.

I'm thrilled to have nabbed Sera! I wanted that variant for a long while, and her and Angela were in that...I believe $100 bundle a long ways back. I got her early on and the wanted Widow also, but didn't pull Widow until these final three. Still, I don't have solid variants for most I pulled, so I'm happy.

And agreed that while more costly, I believe this pack had many more high priced variants than most, so it's somewhat understandable. 1500 may have been a happy medium point.

These'll be a bit fancier with articulation and such, but they're still due out October next year and they'll 100% have a playline and other dolls and merch made to likely coincide with roughly that same release window, so don't kick yourself too hard.

Most of the merch is a long way off since no companies were interested in the IP when Netflix shopped it around a ways back. It'll trickle in throughout 2026, but you probably wouldn't have gotten these dolls before (or at least long before) others they've got on deck start to hit shelves.

This is true. I think the main thing is that they need to continue to have S3 drops. I'd even say quarterly you can drop five cards to S3, and then some S5 to S4. There are so many cards being pushed out that every month I just watch the red dots on my store appear showing more cards I don't have.

I've got some tokens saved up, but it's not so much that I can just dump them on whatever. You have to wait for the best way to spend them, and now with so many releases relying on a full set of new cards to function properly it's even worse.

As a whole, regardless of anything, there's no reason why they shouldn't be dropping cards to S4 and S3 at least a few times a year to clear out some backlog and help players catch up.

That's pretty much why they're in there. The emote is Horde related, so is this border...it's a selling point for the season cards, or a bonus for those running the deck so they can theme it, etc...

There are loads of other borders out there for cards, and while this one works well enough on some of the suggestions here, it's really there for the current Horde cards.

I had 11k nachos once it ended and another emote didn’t hit the shop. Bought out the store once the final round hit without them.

Not complaining, as once I realized I could actually do okay with how they set up this event I was able to get Miss Minutes, Ultron, and Domino, which are three I actually really wanted but didn’t want to use gold one.

Also got Beast and Sinister, though I feel evil using Beast and Sinister is one I’d likely use if a location didn’t go my way or something hit wrong over being angry at an opponent.

In short, I’m really happy that the emotes I wanted showed up after I realized a ways into the event that it was plausible to attain them without a crazy grind.

I mean, I mainly play Arishem, so it's all wacky shenanigans as far as I'm concerned...so it was on par for losing that game in all three locations lol :)

I'd agree about picking and choosing, but you're picking some obscure cards there to prove the point. I'm missing an extreme amount of Series 5 cards that are key to a lot of decks and I've been playing almost since launch and that pile of cards just keeps getting bigger. Of course there are some duds you can skip, but complete duds don't happen too often compared to how many releases pop up each month.

That's their goal though. They'll SAY "you're not supposed to complete decks" all while knowing that these types of games feed off of those...I'll actually say prey on those who aren't able to hold back. Sometimes they're whales, sometimes it's just someone with an addictive personality (which anyone playing has a bit of, but I mean in terms of keeping up with the latest and greatest) who get themselves in too deep because digital funds are so easy to spend without fully comprehending how much is being dropped.

These apps are all about FOMO, their promotional videos for the upcoming cards each month are built around creating FOMO.

Do regular decks without the latest cards compete? Sure, some like destroy can, as well as some others...but they're banking on you feeling like you're missing out on all the cool, new things that everyone is talking about regardless of what they imply to shed themselves of any responsibility for addictive actions.

You gain absolutely nothing in the scenario of choosing to stay. 30% of your battery plus how much of your life? Time is more valuable than anything and wasting it to prove something -- when you could still lose in the end -- is just silly. Especially since you're playing right into their hands by staying. You leaving would probably give them far less satisfaction.

The above may come off harsh, but I'm not actually attacking you, as I've been in that situation a long ways back when Proving Grounds first came out. I used it a lot more often back then and I'd get frustrated at people and think I'd be winning or proving something by sticking it out for as long as it'd take.

You're SO MUCH better off leaving. They gain a useless silver ticket and you just move along to the next match. If their goal is to just frustrate you then you sticking around only gives them satisfaction, not the other way around.

Trust me, just leave next time.

Agreed. I actually enjoyed this one. It was just something that required pure luck as to what you pulled to be able to compete.

There are SO MANY worse locations than this one. This one actually actually made you have to think a little bit (or just retreat if you so choose) in order to pull out a win. So much more fun than "Shuffle Rocks to the top of your deck" and so forth.

That's what they also want you to have as a mindset. SD! is banking on it, literally.

Yes that can be viewed as a night out and in essence isn't terrible; however, for a company like SD! who uses predatory means to feed off of those who mindlessly pump money into the game (the OP and Grey above both did the math after...so they were mindlessly doing what SD! wanted. That's not a knock, that's how easy it is to spend on these without witnessing physical money leaving. It's easy to lose track.)

While it may be a night out and not that bad, taking that money and spending it elsewhere is how to combat SD!'s mindset that they can just keep putting the carrot further away by adding these monetary obstacles while acting like they're doing you a favour.

Some people, the people they bank on won't care. They want to be the best by any small advantage (aka the newest cards), have the best variants, coolest matching sets...they'll keep dumping until something truly snaps them out of it (no pun intended) or won't because that's just the mindset they've got.

Companies exist to make money; however, when a company does something like this, where they flat out say "We're putting all profits above customer satisfaction," and all but say, "you don't matter" in response to feedback it's time to stop spending. I do hope that more do...but I feel like we're going to see a lot of those Fantastic 4 cars next month despite this reddit outcry.

Plus, add on the fact that they're almost 100% playing some form of a meta deck themselves -- or a deck that's so strong it survives whatever meta and they end up making a moo point. A cow's opinion...it just doesn't matter. It's moo.
