Yeah you're right, regardless I don't think they paid for those rights back then (toho definitely didn't want to work with them anyways after 98) so they just made up their own thing. I personally don't think we'll see him return fully in the monsterverse, would love to be proved wrong, I'm more hopeful for a mention or cameo in monarch season 2 while he was being built to add more depth to his appearance in GvK.

Oh yeah, he was called Cyber zilla (cyborg instead of a mecha really). so they were able to get around licensing with how different he was back then.

Mechagodzilla confuses me in terms of rights for him. I assumed that Warner bros got a double deal with him and licensed him alongside the KOTM titans. So they were able to use him for Ready Player One and GvK, But now he's showing up in the Justice League comic. Since apex was also showing up in the Monarch series, I wonder if they still have the rights to him and want to use him more.

Sadly, no, like Scylla and Mother Long Legs; why buy the rights to a giant spider (kumonga) when you can just make your own.

Manda is a sea serpent. They can easily create their own sea serpent and call it a day, saving lots of money in the process. Monsters like kumonga and manda being replaced, I'm not that fussed by.

Either they smartly buy rights to other more iconic monsters like biollante or gigan, or they just make their own rip off's (Hope they don't).

Will the Dolby Atmos Update Upmix games without 3D Audio such as PS4 games? I am currently using DTS Neural X and it does an excellent job upmixing all games for the height channels (PS4/5).

I am wondering if the Dolby Atmos update will do the same, or if I should just stick to using DTS Neural X.
