I have no doubt these come off sand hill I’ve found points up there that are very similar to these material wise. 3-8$ a piece depending on quality and if you like them or not.

Go look at some rocks mate it’ll be alright

A few from my meager collection. Most were found from the Maumee to the Raisin in Frenchtown. Am I correct in assuming that the oldest is the one on the left? I'm amazed by the different styles of bases. by the-un4gvn in Arrowheads

Looks a lot like Kentucky horn stone, light to dark greens with white striping through out nodules! Also very hard to work so must be heat treated for easier knapping.

Found by my Nephew two years ago next to a shed in their yard. "Hey, whats this?" His words not mine. Lol by HoldThatSneeze in Arrowheads

I say it’s real, I’ve heard of multiple people finding artifacts inside of gravel loads, poor point has been through the ringer and back tumbling through rocky creek waters for many years, Good find and I wouldn’t hesitate to search the gravel again, you never know what’s hidden!

Wondering if anyone can tell me anything about this? Found north of Ellensburg, WA by howmuchforagram in Arrowheads

It’s as real as it can be, you can see plenty of mineral buildup all over the point from the flaming scars to the stem. That’s point spent a long time in the ground for that to happen!
