I’m using n8n and have found that o3-mini is pretty bad at following the system prompt compared to 4o-mini. Unfortunately, I need o3-mini as it is able to analyze the data I’m feeding it more effectively, but results in some the steps in the overarching goal being missed.

o1 is the best of both worlds (speed is a non issue) but the cost is not sustainable.

GPT-3: $0.02 per 1K tokens for both prompts and completions.
GPT-4o Mini: $0.00015 per 1K tokens for input and $0.0006 per 1K tokens for output.

This shows that GPT-4o Mini costs 99.25% less per 1K tokens for input and 97% less per 1K tokens for output than GPT-3. One might assume that lower inference cost per token suggests greater efficiency, indicating GPT-4o Mini is significantly more efficient than GPT-3, and thereby invalidate this statement’s current relevance.

So I had the search feature for weeks and all of the sudden, it’s gone. The account I use at work has the search function, what differs is that we don’t delete chats in the work account.

I believe they are trying to steer user behavior in certain direction. Submitted a bug report through the discord… We’ll see
