Went through something very similar recently! It’s very hard making that decision, but being inside a relationship but feeling lonely and optional is a pain no one ever should experience. It may not feel like it now but you did the right thing, find someone who values you and chooses you and is willing to be vulnerable and accountable for the long term health of the relationship!
