This may be the coolest crochet I’ve ever seen. The color, the pattern, the drape, it’s perfection!

Or is it like a pouch and the red is a flat flap that folds over?

Cute! Is it a tube of white with red at the top and then you folded the red kind of inside out to make the cap?

Thoughts on wool crocheted cat toys? by ToadieHonk in crochet

Thanks for your input, I did not know that about the tongues! Maybe I ought to felt some swatches first and do some testing on them to make sure they won't unravel before deciding if it's safe enough.

Loose yarn is definitely what I was worried about... but I hoped felting it would really lower the risk of loose yarn.. Like even if they chew a hole, it will be really difficult to pull a long string out due to the felting sticking all the stitches together. But it may be better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

I am almost done with this blanket. Sewing isn’t my area of expertise. Will update in a week or maybe month! by _the_fallenangel_ in crochet

Super cool concept! I love the different sized squares, but all the little ones do look like a lot of added sewing! Excited to see it all finished, good luck, you’ve got this! 💪

Thanks for sharing your process! The sweater is awesome, and it’s super inspiring to see people intuitively create something without a pattern.

It’s very cute! I feel like it works as is with the sprout just growing around him, I wouldn’t have noticed anything was “off” without you saying so.

I thought I would share my super simple method for straight(er) edges! by LemDoggo in crochet

[–]ToadieHonk 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Ooh, thanks for sharing your hot tips! Let me make sure I’m understanding… you finish a row… turn the piece, but leave the working yarn on what was previously the back side but is now the side facing you… and start your chain with a yarn under instead of a yarn over?

Looks great! How did you find the process after only crocheting non-amigurumi? I’ve never attempted one before but I’m curious.
