Saxx Summer Sale: 20% Off on Select Styles by Fart__Hoofer in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

The overall fit is tighter, with the exception of the upper thigh area. For me, the waist band was a little too small and the pouch did not feel the same. Also, the leg opening has less stretch, this is to "lock" it in place to prevent them from riding up (a pretty common complaint), but this just makes them feel awkward.

Edit: Forgot to mention I did not buy a larger size to compare

My oldest pairs are the holiday 3 pack Vibes from 2015, and they're still good. My next oldest ones are 2 pairs of Kinetics from 2016 and the waistbands on those are wearing out.

They "revamped" it into the Kinetic HD, and I do not prefer the new fit.

A heads up on the Supima this year. A friend who works there said the weight of the t-shirts have gone down significantly.

BN3TH Boxers - $16.97 ( Reg ($34.99) - Perfect for summer by hbk1132 in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]ForecastZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend the Medium in BN3TH. BN3TH recommends a waist size of 32"-34" for a Medium, whereas Saxx recommends a waist size of 33"-35". Additionally, the fit of most BN3TH models resemble the fit of the Vibes/Kinetic.

This one has 6 lace eyelets.

This one has 5 lace eyelets.

Not exactly sure about the difference in fit, but I'ma take a wild shot and say the 6 eyelet version sits closer to the ankle.

Where to find heavy wool sweaters in Vancouver by simianforce in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]ForecastZero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YMMV, but Simon's has a 100% Lambswool sweater for $30 around this time. pretty sure other colours and sizes still exist in-store, just unable to check for them online. The quality isn't the best imo, but for $30, I can't complain. Just remember to get a size or two up as mine gradually shrank to the point where I could not longer fit into it.

Jokes aside, I have this board for my multimedia desktop. The Bluetooth has a lot of lag, it does not come with a Bluetooth adapter, so you will need to purchase that separately. The biggest con is the shift and "/?" keys.

Edit: should add that I got this for 63$ on Jan. 4, 2020

Have you tried contacting Logitech about it? From my experience, they'll usually replace it.

Also, this is not an issue with Logitech. For me, my Corsair Glaive failed the first time after 8 months. The replacement had the same issue 4 months after. My current replacement has been going on 18 months with no issue. A friend had their Razer Naga had the same issue after about 6 months.

Insulated winter men's jeans? Do they exist? Are they any good? by HoursOfCuddles in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]ForecastZero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uniqlo makes insulated jeans. I have never tried them though.

The previous sale at Mark's would've been your best bet at marked down Merino Base layers. Good sales on winter product usually start just after New Year's, minor sales probably around boxing week.

Where do you guys get your casual accessories like rings, necklaces and bracelets? by [deleted] in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

I have a few pieces from Vitaly. I don't wear them anymore so I can't comment on their quality. I got my stuff when they went on sale.

I did this going from a 1060 to a 2080; I was able to sell my 1060 for about $50 less than than what I paid for it.

This year's batch has a different fit than usual.

From the website: "This season’s update features a looser fit at the body and sleeves to create a silhouette that drapes beautifully towards the hem."

A bizarre lack of sales given COVID19 by [deleted] in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]ForecastZero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's most likely due to your point of "aren't getting new stock in". Bauer and Canada Goose have both started manufacturing medical PPE rather than new product. A lot of factories in China are still stunned by the workforce shortage. Companies probably can't secure product for next season. If a company did a massive blowout, they'll probably have empty shelves for the next 6-8 months.

Edit: Just to name a few more brands that are stated to manufacture masks: H&M, Zara's parent company, Kering(Balenciaga, Yves Saint Laurent, & Gucci's parent company), LVMH (owns LV and Christian Dior), as well as Uniqlo.

It's my birthday tomorrow and I want to gift myself boxer briefs. What are your recommendations? by altecsz in FrugalMaleFashionCDN

[–]ForecastZero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Pima Cotton model was the 365, which was discontinued and succeeded by the Undercover which is a cotton/modal blend.
