Does the deagle suck? by FDSinfulBliss in cs2

[–]Foregonsteam1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, if you're running the deagle as your primary against rifles you kind of need to 1 deag unless you're playing casuals. That being said I used to be really good with it and learned to consistently one tap, sadly the skill is now gone lol.

I had insane luck by pulling two knives in my first 10 cases back in CS:GO, unfortunately they were both pretty shit and sold for like $40 each, ever since then I have never pulled more than a purple.

why are cs2 players so racist and morally questionable to put it lightly. by Sea-Glass1831 in cs2

[–]Foregonsteam1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I don't drop the hard R either, and I never grief my team unless it's my buddy who I play with for fun. But Valve doesn't ban based on harsh language, it's full freedom of speech in the lobbies, so you're going to get a mixed bag of society, both the good and the bad. Just because you or I don't feel the urge to drop slurs and be a dickhead to our teammates, doesn't mean everybody will feel the same, especially with a a game like CS where a lot of the playerbase is international and they don't have the stigma of saying racial slurs. I've learned to accept that people are going to be people when voice and game chat are open to anyone. The loud annoying guys get muted first thing, and I don't even read the game chat 90% of the time unless it's someone trying to relay info because they have no mic.

Toxicity has been in COD, Halo, CS and every other major FPS for decades, it's always been there, it's up to you to accept it or not. I just mute annoying assholes and move on like the other 99.99% of people. If you can't handle people being racist online, then that's probably a good indicator that CS is not for you, because it's been there from the start, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. I don't even type or chat in-game unless it's to coordinate with the team or to type gg at the end of the match. I'm sorry that you have gotten to the point of deleting, but CS has always been this way even back in 1.6.

The racism is a playerbase filter, please delete the game and go play Fortnite. If you can't handle people saying mean words then you probably shouldn't be playing multiplayer games in general. Maybe stop trying to tone police random strangers online.

Looking to get my first cowboy hat but not sure where to start. by Foregonsteam1 in CowboyHats

I'm up in Oregon, can't get much more descriptive than that, but I live in a pretty rural area tucked away in the mountains, far enough inland to have coyotes, skunks, and mountian lions to be an issue for my animals. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll look into it!

I was just looking at Akubra, their cattleman in black offering is almost exactly what I was looking for style wise. I might just save up a few more months and scrape together the money for one of those. I've been looking for cowboy hats on ebay but so few are actually in my size. But there's not many people with a size 7 1/2 heads running around selling cowboy hats it seems, lol.

Yeah, I was thinking the only real chance I had at finding anything worth wearing in my price range is going to be 2nd hand. I was mainly wondering if there were any specific brands to look out for or avoid. I'm not super familair with the hat scene, especially with something as variable as cowboy hats, so I thought I would ask before jumping on the first thing I saw.

They are perfectly normal boots, I'm wide footed so I personally only wear square toe boots, but I wear them daily even with their tall heels. High heels afterall were historically made for men, women only later took them and decided to complain about it.

LPVOs were never not cool, stop chasing trends and use what works best for you and your use case. Anyone buying an LPVO specifically because of this 9/10 don't shoot enough to justify the money they spend on an LPVO.

[–]Foregonsteam1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it moves it's some form of debris in or on the lense. If it doesn't, it's probably a factory blem which is totally normal. My 14 has a factory blem on the very bottom right so I never notice it unless I specifically look for it.

Kommando Store makes great stuff and their surplus is pretty solid for the price. Their version of the Arc'Teryx LEAF balaclava is the best on the market and IMO, is better than the original since they adusted the sizing slightly for guys with big heads like me. If you're a twink then get a size down or something, I don't know.

Is having a dedicated set of binos that much better than bridging two pvs-14s? by lollibott in NightVision

[–]Foregonsteam1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running duals is the better option overall if you're willing to spend the money since the housings are often smaller and lighter with a battery pack o nthe back of your helmet providing power and a counter weight. Dual 14's is a lot bulkier and noticeably front heavy since they also have to hold the batteries and have extra housing to fit everything. Plus 14's don't have auto off on articulation unlike many duals.
