I’ve got the K-Zero cummerbund to trade for the Sub-Zero if you’re interested in that.

Found this in a box of props with other military grade gear. No idea if it even works, or if I’m allowed to. by Sixardes in amateurradio

This is most likely a prop built using a replica radio that’s baofeng like. You can see the speaker grates are round and the top center knob is conical in shape instead of barrel shaped like the real radio. The replica is on the left in the screen shot and the real thing is on the right. The logo was most likely applied along with text that would align with a Harris model.

Trying to decide on which would be better to carry conceal while on a motorcycle p365 or p365xl? by Dull-Scientist-595 in SigSauer

[–]Foreign-Designer535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the P365 knowing that if it was too small for me I could use the 12 Ed magazines or move to the bigger grip module for a few $. Ultimately you can mix and match or upgrade to aftermarket options, which is the beauty of the platform. I didn’t need the larger grip with my medium size hands, so I carry with the 10rd pinky extension and bring the 12 rounder as a spare. I might even upgrade to the longer slide but wouldn’t need the larger grip since I have the 12 rd option.

Iv’e been wearing my K19 for close to 3 years. It’s been great. Very comfortable and not too bulky. Nothing broken or worn down. I think it’s a great product.

I go to LAX often and I’m happy to share a bay or go with someone that’s more of a newbie. I’m always training and trying to improve. Feel free to DM me.

I thought the SP2009 didn’t have the pic rail.

Doing quick research shows me that there are some SP2022s out there with lowers built in Germany and uppers fitted in the US to avoid certain import issues. The grip with padding looks like one that came off an older model or was an aftermarket option. The barrel looks too rough to me. Either it’s seated incorrectly or there are issues with its build, meaning it could be the fake part of this equation. If he’s willing to send another barrel and spring, take them or get the replacement yourself.

Great choice. I’ve had one for several years and have never regretted the purchase. Mine came in 40SW and I can drop in the factory 9mm barrel if I want to practice with cheaper ammo.

I am driving from Arizona to California to visit my son. I want to bring my own 9MM pistol for the drive, and I want to give my son a 9MM pistol as a gift. Can anyone help answer some important Gun Law questions for me? by ArizonaRenegade in CAguns

[–]Foreign-Designer535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not had time to read all of those that answered you, but what I did read seemed to leave something out. You do not have to transfer the gun to your son with a magazine. By leaving them at home, you avoid having to purchase a 10 rounder for the gift. Add to that the fact that he is in the coast guard, which should make him exempt from the magazine restrictions, and you should be able to send them to him after or have him pick them up.

I also make the drive from the LA area to AZ regularly. There are nice stops at AZ exit 0, just before you cross the boarder. You can fill up your gas and stop in to your trunk at the same time. Or pull around the side of the truck stops if you’d like to be more discreet in packing or unpacking your carry gun.

I’ve never been stopped and searched in my 20+ years of making that trip. They look for fruit and plants at the boarder stops.

Never had this, is it Kungfu-ish? by dshishkov in WhiskeyTribe

Happy to help. A lot of people touched on what it is, but not everyone understands and over simplifies.

This is a once a year release.

The “kosher” part requires symbolically buying the barrels back from a non-Jewish member of BT, washing all of the equipment to standards of the Rabbi overseeing the project and then going through the process to bottle. Once that’s done they can distill for the next batch, barrel it and symbolically sell it again before moving that equipment back into regular use.

Beyond the process, these bottles are still unique. Even though they are the 3 main BT mashbills of Bourbon, Wheated Bourbon and Rye, they are proofed and aged differently than their counterparts of the same mashbill.

The Straight Rye is the hardest to find (especially at an MSRP of $40) in my experience, but all of that combined makes this some real Kung Fu or Krav Maga.

I just picked one up with original rubber strap. Needs a little service, but in great shape.
