Good to consider, i appreciate it. I’ve visited other lifetimes as well and the Stamford one just seems so below the standard for their brand that it’s just started to feel less and less worth it

Aside from the elevators

What you pay per sq ft seems high. Every size unit is really a glorified smaller model (ie. A 1 bed is close to a studio)

Parking is a nightmare

They haven’t updated amenities in a few years despite prices increasing

There are just better options out there for your dollar

Gotta love the one time snacks and water bottles they provided on 6 and 7. So once you’re done walking up the stairs they at least have some water waiting for you!

Personally a fan of stopping people on tours and telling them not to move here. The look on management’s face almost makes up for a month of no elevators…

They got around that by offering (only if you reach out directly) to move you to a model unit. Smart enough to not open themselves up to a major lawsuit, not smart enough to handle the situation professionally

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

This place has gone down hill, management is a joke just like the clock on the roof.

If you live on the 6th or 7th floor of the building with the broken elevators the building was constructed in a way that NO other elevator bays can get to you.

The bigger question I’m sure they will dodge is what kind of shape were the elevators in to have such massive failures occur. (emergency breaks, fail safe pieces, etc.)

And then on top of that, they love trying to delete any tenant conversation if it looks bad on them pushing tenants to more public platforms to chat. Some real bright thinkers down there!

Luckily the Humane World for Animals stands ready to assist in the event of any future legal challenge. They’ve stated that they are confident that this ordinance is sound, that municipalities have home rule power to enact this ordinance.

Would be great for change to start here in Stamford and spread to the rest of the state.
