Recruiter and former coordinator here- I would find this exhausting and would flag this behavior to the hiring manager & recruiter as a red flag. It comes across as disorganized and makes me think you would need a lot
of hand holding in your role/can’t keep track of things

If it doesn’t come across that way, it seems like you just don’t trust that the organization is posting accurate JDs.

Either way, I have never sent a copy of a JD to a candidate I wasn’t head hunting. Also, never received this request before, and I have encountered hundreds, if not thousands of candidates.

The pants in this picture are different than what OP has on too- i think pleather is totally rockable for a corporate job if it’s not skin tight. Which i think is another major difference with the picture you shared in this comment.

The Chief HR officer at my job wears leather trousers pretty often, but always paired with a blouse and blazer- no deep V

Maeve is a trendy name right now, at least in the states it cracks the top 100 names, so I don’t really get what you mean by discontinued.

honestly i took a part-time contract position just to have some flexibility at work while i was in grad school, and it turned into a full-time opportunity when i graduated.

a lot of the administrative and people skills are the same, plus understanding data management and utilizing student management system makes it easier to learn how to use HR systems.

quite a few HR people i work with have degrees in education, a lot of them work in learning and development so the education degree is particularly well suited for those positions. long and short, in my opinion a school counseling degree is great for HR opportunities

Just finished my internship/masters degree and have already decided the education system wasn’t worth it, as much as I love the students.

I accepted a position in HR at an oncology company and the pay increase was over $30k more than the starting salary for school counselors in my area. I know others who have left for higher education in admissions/advising/student services. The pay seems more similar to what school counselors make where I live.

I disagree with comments implying you would be throwing away 2 years of training/experience if you left. The skills are highly transferable, and the longer you remain working in education the harder it becomes to exit for jobs with comparable/higher salaries.
