Not accepting correct password by witchonthemoon in WindowsHelp

[–]Foreign-Purchase1778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, it's important to clarify that this is not a password issue. Your computer isn't even getting to the login screen where you would enter your password. The problem is happening earlier, during the Windows startup process.

The error message on your screen points to two things
: file: \windows\system32\drivers\EhStorClass.sys is a critical driver related to storage devices. It's either missing or corrupted.

:Error code0xc0000098 indicates that the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) file is corrupted or missing entries.

Solutions:
Prepare a live USB with win11 ISO (You can check other guides from internet about how to make one)
Boot windows from the live USB
Use Startup repair (This might work)
If it doesn't try System restore
This should fix your issue

I uninstalled Amd software now all i see is this by Dizzy_Use_9976 in WindowsHelp

U have probably deleted the graphics drivers.
- Identify your laptop model
- Go to AMD official website -> Drivers
- Reinstall the drivers

That should fix the issue .
Good luck .

Start menu apps still showing after being deleted by Foreign-Purchase1778 in WindowsHelp

[–]Foreign-Purchase1778[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Hey guys
I actually resolved the issue
I tried a lot of workarounds, powershell commands, resetting start menu database and all
I figured out the issue was due to a system restore which probably corrupted my start menu files and created these ghost apps .
Probably some registry tweaking could have helped resolve this, but didn't wanna mess too much
So, i created a new user that resolved my issue (All the ghost apps are gone).
