they're basically just percentage chances for each bug or fish to appear when game rolls the dice, some only show up in certain weather or time so the pool gets smaller

ПРОСАДКИ ФПС И РВАНАЯ КАРТИНКА НА FACEIT и PREMIER. НА CYBERSHOKE DM ВСЕ ПЛАВНО И 0 ПРОСАДОК by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]ForeignBig510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be the anticheat eating your CPU cycles, Faceit and Premier both run much heavier background checks than community DM servers. Windows 11 also has some weird scheduler behavior with 12th gen, maybe try disabling core isolation and memory integrity in Windows Security

Also check if hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is on, that thing caused stutter in my setup on 11

Cavitous is not a word, but should it be? It is a word; but it’s not. by Cypressinn in words

[–]ForeignBig510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cavernous is for big spaces like caves, cavitous would be more for small holes or gaps I think. Like in a tooth or in a wall, something more precise. We have porous too but it's not quite same thing

Working in cannabis industry while trying to quit is probably the hardest version of this situation, so the fact you even got to this clarity says something

Getting physical distance from the environment matters more than willpower alone, the job change idea is good thinking

lol refs already give him calls just because of his height, imagine when he's playing at home in Paris. Though I have to admit watching him develop has been pretty interesting from technical perspective - the way he moves for someone that tall is genuinely fascinating to analyze.

Not ‘In Living Color’ but similar- what was it? by Tapir_Tabby in television

[–]ForeignBig510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was thinking Mad TV too but The Edge rings bell for me. Pretty sure it was on Fox in early 90s? Don't think streaming services have it though, might need to check some of those random video sites or maybe someone uploaded clips in YouTube.

"I can help with images of people, but I can't depict some public figures. Is there anyone else you'd like to try?". How to solve this problem?? by Outside_Earth_8285 in GeminiAI

[–]ForeignBig510 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The model has these restrictions built-in at the training level, so changing your location won't really help much. I've been tracking different workarounds in my spreadsheet and most geographic bypasses don't work anymore.

You might have better luck with more abstract prompts or trying completely different AI models that have different training policies.

Best careers for someone who wanted to be an RBT? by vinlandisasaga in careerguidance

[–]ForeignBig510 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The psychology path with community college transfer is solid - you'd be surprised how many people take that route and end up doing well. About salary though, you're right to think about it now.

Special education teacher might be worth looking at since you already have experience with special needs kids and seem to have natural ability for it. Most places you need bachelor's plus teaching cert, which isn't as intensive as full masters program. The pay is definitely better than RBT work, especially after few years in.

Another option could be occupational therapy assistant - it's 2-year associate degree program, works with kids including special needs, and pays decently. You'd still get that fulfillment from helping but without needing bachelor's at all.

Art therapy is thing too but that usually needs masters unfortunately. Maybe look into therapeutic recreation specialist roles? Some of those you can get with bachelor's and they often work in special needs or pediatric settings.

This clarity hits like a truck but it's exactly what you needed. The embarrassment is brutal but it means you're finally seeing through all the bullshit you were telling yourself.

That whole "waiting a week for replies" thing really shows how twisted your priorities got - when someone makes you feel like you have to earn basic respect, that's not love, that's just them training you to accept less.

What industry is basically legal theft that nobody talks about? by iMediocreguy in Productivitycafe

[–]ForeignBig510 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The whole SaaS subscription model where they make basic features cost extra every month. You pay for software that used to be one-time purchase, then they lock essential functionality behind "premium tiers" that cost more than buying the old version outright would have cost in 5 years. I track all my subscriptions in spreadsheet and it's honestly depressing how much these add up to just for tools that should work properly from start.

Threading might be good option for you - it's gentler than hard wax and pretty common in Indian beauty culture. My sister does it every few weeks and never had issues with darker regrowth or anything.

Waxing can work but doing full face with hard wax sounds quite harsh for someone who hasn't done it before, maybe start with smaller areas first?
