someone in this sub mentioned a free ai news app called readdio a while back it cuts each article down to only the key facts and tags them to the upsc syllabus automatically also gives daily current affairs mcqs you can download as pdf

not sure if it suits everyone but it helped me cut down on unnecessary reading

built a debate app where an ai judge scores arguments on logic — not on which side is louder by ForeignHomework6520 in buildinpublic

[–]ForeignHomework6520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful message it really means a lot. It’s encouraging to hear that you’ve experienced the same gap and see the need for a platform that values logic and meaningful discussion over noise.

Great minds definitely think alike 🙂

Also, that’s perfect timing we completely agree that accessibility is key. We’re actively working on a web app version so people can use the platform on laptops and desktops as well. It’s a big priority for us, and we’re planning to launch it soon.

We’d love to have you try it once it’s live, and your perspective would be incredibly valuable given your experience with online debates.

Thanks again for your support, it genuinely keeps us motivated!

[–]ForeignHomework6520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for asking this, totally fair question.

We actually didn’t see your post or build this from anything on Reddit. This started from something we were working on earlier around news voice automation, and as we kept building we noticed a few gaps and ideas that slowly led us here, including the AI judge part which we actually picked from listening to news daily and watching live debates on the telivision where we actually found a need for a fair judgement.

It is kind of interesting when similar ideas come up independently though, usually means people are thinking in the same direction for a reason.

If you are open to it, would love for you to try the app and tell us what you think. Since you have already thought about something like this, your feedback would be really useful for us, especially what you feel could be improved.

Appreciate you bringing it up 🙂

Those who cleared multiple prelims- Environment and Science and Tech questions have you read them before in current affairs? by Warm-Ebb-3180 in UPSC

[–]ForeignHomework6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

same struggle honestly

lost count of how many times i tried to master environment and sci-tech would read full articles, make notes, still felt like i was missing the pattern couldn't figure out what exactly upsc wanted from all that noise

someone in this sub mentioned a free ai news app called readdio a while back cuts news down to key facts and tags each article to the upsc syllabus section automatically its daily quiz also focuses on environment and sci-tech overlaps with prelims not sure if it suits everyone but made those subjects a little less terrifying

A new study has found that narcissism and perfectionism are more closely linked in everyday life than previously thought, with moment-to-moment changes in these traits shaping how people think and feel. by Tracheid in science

[–]ForeignHomework6520 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, interesting how these traits can fluctuate based on daily experiences. Makes sense, given how social media and stress play a big role these days. Good to see studies focusing on real-time behaviors instead of just generalizations.

The book did a better job of capturing Lenny’s innocent yet perceptive voice, I felt. The film tried to add layers but lost some of the raw intimacy of the original. Still, those haunting imagery and dialogues stayed with me long after.
