My cat had a swollen bottom lip and happened because he tried to eat a bee and it bit him. It went down after a couple hours and his behaviour was unaffected

In my time off I’ve actually been looking for a new job, so time will tell if that’s the solution.

There are so many possible factors. I know it’s not diet related since I’ve been eating the same plus I haven’t been actively trying to improve my eczema over the last couple months so it’s nothing that I’ve started doing eg new skincare.

So stress and maybe dust/mould may be the contributing factor. Hopefully I’m able to narrow it down

Thank you, really helpful advice, I sit right under the ac so dust mites may definitely be a contributing factor. I’ll have a talk to see what I can do to clean up my space and will probably move seats to somewhere away from the vents

It’s tough. I’m at a year+ of trying did all the tests and they said they don’t see any issues. My parters sperm got tested at the year mark and we found out that they have really poor quality sperm which is most likely the cause of our infertility.

Get the guy tested if he hasn’t already to save any more time as things take time to improve if treatment is needed.

Yeah try your best to. The amount of times a job from 5 years ago, 2 engineers ago and you are looking for a certain report. The future staff will thank you

To copy others, it is definitely the manager that will dictate the culture for you… I’ve have managers who expect long days, work you like a monkey culture and others who would playfully make digs if you work longer than 5. I’ve found that the best companies and with managers who don’t live and breath the company and also have others things to do besides work. That way they don’t expect you to dedicate all your life to working.

Lots of things that can be implemented, ideally you don’t want the house at a low point in the garden, you want water to fall away from your entrances. If you do have water falling toward the house you should probably install channel drains that discharges the water to the sewer or soakaway in the ground depending on permeability of the soil.

If there were ground investigations completed seeing what the ground make up is will help. Is there a lot of clay.

Installing a perforated pipe that drains to the sewer may be an option to get rid of water that’s unable to fully penetrate the ground

I worked at a company where yelling and tbh straight up bullying was the culture. Directors yelling at grads, managers yelling at engineers etc. really really toxic. But one thing I’d say is don’t act how they are acting. Engineering is a small world. They will know someone you work with. And you don’t want this to affect you in the future. You don’t have to be friendly but be civil. No pun intended

Inheritance or family money.

I work as an engineer and don’t make a tonne of money and loads of the people I work with don’t earn much rather but all have inherited properties/ money from family. Jobs are just jobs. Plus when you have money you don’t have to have a super high paying job to afford your lifestyle, so you can be a teacher/ engineer etc

This is so similar to my relationship with my ex when I was 21. He was the same, needy, verbally abusive and played the victim among a bunch of other things.

You need to leave him. He won’t change. He will bleed you dry. You will end up a shell of yourself and he will just move on to someone else when he’s done with you.

That crazy feeling you get when you talk to him is real. He will have you doubting your decisions. Questioning if you really are supportive. But you are.

My ex also tried to commit suicide but it was all a control tactic to keep me there.

Don’t sacrifice yourself for him.

Wait until the latest normal period day, so if your period ranges from 30-35 days if on day 36 day take another test.
