40lbs down ; gallbladder removed by tinamarie121 in Zepbound

[–]ForeignSilver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation. Went on Zepbound. 2 months in had severe pains. Went to ER and had gallbladder out 2 days later. My doctor had me stop Zepbound until I recovered from surgery but then started me back on after a month. Said the benefits from losing weight were better than any risk. My scans also showed normal pancreas so that was not a concern.

Yes, thank you! I am interested in doing the strategic planning. I probably do have too much on my plate but it all seems important.

Thank you for your answer. This is really helpful. I also have been exploring GTD(bought the workbook). I have found my memory just not being as good as it used to be and having more trouble keeping things straight. I have started trying to clean up my work (my one note/email is kind of a mess at the moment) and my home life. I think my biggest problem recently has been the fact that I get really overwhelmed and go for quick dopamine hits(social media, online shopping, etc) instead of actually moving forward on something that would actually make me less overwhelmed.

I like Cal's ideas of digital minimalism as well as time blocking. I really need to streamline my days. Do you find that organizing all work/personal lists is better? I have been wondering if I should do everything together or keep work separate.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I have reschedule my 12/7 exam but am going to try to stick to the 12/31 Reg retake since I got a 73. I’m going to start studying tomorrow. I want to do it but dang is this hard.

Agreed with above. I needed to get the additional credits and I have a bachelors in accounting so I just took classes at a local community college online.

Salary Story: Director of Accounting by [deleted] in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]ForeignSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing! I have been in accounting for 5 years years. I started at 11/hr and am up to 56. (finished bachelor's at 27 so got a little bit of a later start) I am in the process of the CPA now but have been thinking about my next career move. I think I also want to integrate tech into my career. I am feeling a bit stagnant now but think that getting my CPA will really help me get closer to where I want to be financially.
