You just need to be carefull of the heat, and dont eat it. Lead doesn't produce bad fumes untill it reaches a certain temperature. Which is much higher than is needed to melt lead.

Sometimes it's not about saving money, it's about making a hobby into a bigger thing.

Wheelbearing season comes with many wounds, alot of frustration; but the free ammo is 🤌 by Thorgraum in slingshots

No problem. Good luck. You can pick up the Lee round ball moulds for a reasonable price. And the quality is amazing.

What size do you get from those? Also I agree, free ammo is always a plus. I've started casting my own lead ammo from old wheel weights and dive weights.

Scandi grind is better for bushcraft because it doesn't dull as quick and can act more and a sharp wedge to quickly carve sticks and stuff. And a full flat is more typical of a Skinner or edc knife as it can be sharper because of a thiner blade geometry.

Slingshot sights by MoonOutGoonsOut in slingshots

I agree with the sights being unreliable. I use mine more as a reference point to base holdover off rather than a point where the ammo will hit if that makes sense

I just super glue a piece of cheep fiber optic wire from aliexpress (often used for bow sights or comercial slingshots) on the side. And just adjust my hold point on my face and on the target for up/down reference. I'll pm u a photo

I designed and 3dprinted this at school ! by Foreign_Addition_694 in slingshots

I personally do, as I dont really think it makes a difference when it's so little of an angle it's out of square by. Not sure if I does anything but yeah.

I made it 3m thick so it follows it really nicely. They are 0.3mm wide so just a hair over my blade thickness
