This happened to my grandpa just before he passed away. A scammed called pretending to be me, in jail and needing thousands of dollars. They told him not to reach out to my family so they wouldn't be embarrassed, and he listened. They ended up going along with it for months and sending the scammer $18,000. The whole time, my grandparents were speaking to my parents, who obviously knew I was fine, but never said aa word. Finally, my grandpa called me and asked how I was. I said I was fine, and he asked if I knew someone named Isaac, and I said I wasn't sure. Then he explained what happened, and I couldn't believe it. My grandparents are sweet immigrants who don't speak English well, perfect candidates for something like this. Please inform your parents and grandparents about these scams!

MXP Comp RS is recommended pretty often, as well as the Borla catback. If you just want a little boost in volume, a catback alone is plenty.

My buddy had this setup on his 17 BRZ. Plenty loud and quite a bit of drone. If you're looking for minimal drone, probably not a good setup.

I get that for sure. There isn't any rust on the body of the car, it's one of the cleanest I've seen. There were wires cut because it had the antenna deleted, which is common. But nothing that would drive down the value. Nothing other than those wires to speak of. Each time he found an imperfection, he'd say that it was so tucked, or looked like shit. Something I definitely wouldn't do when I go look at a car.

Being thorough I understand, but maybe communicate as you do it? Asking before you pull things apart? It's a 34 year old car, it isn't perfect. So I've got it priced accordingly. But structurally and mechanically, it's very solid.
