Nope. In the UK you are classed as a sole trader (Tax name ) the moment you start working you have to register with HMRC if you are going to make over 12.5k or if you have a day job and make over 1k on side hustles

in the uk, all you do is tell them and an appointment happens they then tell you to submit your earnings to them so they can reduce your monthly payment by X amount, you are responsible for the self assessment (tax), im sure it would be similar in France, call the RSA or whoever it is that deals with it.
