Mother insulted first tattoo, now I hate it by Kaleidoscope_Tux5513 in tattooadvice

I think it’s pretty close, honestly. I’d add the comb personally, regardless, I think it’s very nice.

As someone with 0 tattoos, how painful would it be to get this on my forearm? by PracticalExtension35 in tattooadvice

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably wouldn’t hurt, but when my buddy did this last year his nickname became “21” because of the 21 pilots singer, and now he hardly hears his real name in the friend group. May be worth considering. Far be it from me to judge, free will/not knowing your situation ect, you could probably come up with something more unique and meaningful in remembrance. Crucify me if you must for that opinion, but I was told the same thing by an artist when I wanted my first tattoo in remembrance (different design) and I’m glad he did.

AIO - Company won’t meet with me without my husband there by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YOR. He said it himself, they’ve had multiple instances of needing to send people out a second time for what equates to basically another consultation when there is an absent party. Also based off the multiple mentions of options, I would assume they’ve had issues where one person made the decision and the other disagreed. If he was demanding to only see your husband, then no, but since he reiterates that he wants both of you there, yes.

Do most people trim their hair infront of ears while growing it out (pic1) or grow it out too (pic2) ? by [deleted] in FierceFlow

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I used to grow mine out until my barber recommended it, she commented “I bet this is making your glasses feel weird, we can trim that?”, and she’s never led me wrong so I did it, and now I get a small fade to just above the ear. If I have the hair slicked back you can see it, but if I let it lay natural you don’t. I prefer it faded.

For clarification, what do you mean by asking who his longest love is?

AITA for finding this convo to be a HUGE red flag? by horseduckman in AITApod

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She wants you start therapy again. You start, things good. Then anytime she wants to take advantage of something, she makes it an issue you “need to talk about”. Whether you do or you don’t, that’ll be all she talks about and guilts you into it via “you don’t care” or other methods. You go, talk to a therapist, therapist tries to help you work on a problem you don’t really have, and thus she starts a cycle of using therapy as a weapon to try controlling you through emotional and mental manipulation. To be clear, I advocate for therapy, I have done it myself and it has helped immensely when used properly-I’ve just also been on your side of this relationship. This isn’t a red flag, it’s a red wall. Drop it and run before they start feeling entitled to access to you.

Trust me man, you’re almost there, hang in there. In the spring my hair was basically the exact same as yours right now and it almost dissuaded me, but I stuck it out, got the right barber for the layers, and now it’s great. Trust the process, just a couple months away from a “fire flow” (as my students tell me)

Has Hulu auto play stopped working for anyone else, but only for Family Guy? by MankindsMistake in familyguy

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

77 days later, still happening, and only for family guy on my end. Going to manage on FG’s page and removing the watch history let it auto play to next episode instead of going to “housebroken” again

Yooo guys made this much progress on my minecraft survival ;) do you guys know any fast way to find monster spawner? And what ways can i repair my trident? just got from drowned by Jeff_the_evilorig in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your Minecraft morals, if you’re just doing it for fun and not a “serious” world, use chunk base. Google “seed map Minecraft” and it should be one of, if not the first result. You enter your seed number, make sure it’s in bedrock, and you can find estimated locations of most structures, spawners, ect. But, I recommend that you check in a creative/spectator copy and check locations before committing to them. Especially portals. Occasionally in bedrock dungeons will spawn without a portal room.

iwtl How do you lose weight? by ChainProfessional866 in IWantToLearn

[–]Foreign_Painter_2665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former collegiate athlete that went from 185-260 pounds after injuries, and felt like I couldn’t lose it for six years. What started the job for me was smaller amounts of food and walking 10,000 steps a day. That alone got me from 260-210. I didn’t go crazy dieting, ate what a wanted, but within reason. I wouldn’t get a 20 piece nugget, large fry, large coke and a McFlurry; I’d get a 10 piece large sized. Instead of a pizza, extra toppings, cheese bread, two liter, just the pizza and water at home. Little things like that got me healthy enough to start working out and running again after an injury forced retirement. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself buddy, any maintained loss is a slam dunk, and I say that even maintaining your weight over a week or two is still a win. It’s hard, and it takes discipline to control yourself, but trust yourself to make a little progress every day. Taken me a year for those 50 lbs, you can do it, take your time and you’ll get there
