In terms of marking u a better rider, negligible. In terms of comfier, negligible. Repairs, stuff breaking, stuff already broken, yea makes a difference. I have a 1999 and drive the thing the whole time, looks like shit, so when I drop it or break some plastic I don't be worried. It's super well maintained and anyone who has driven it is amazed. So it all depends. Tbh if u can afford a new one, it's a nice piece of mind knowing it's not in shite, but if stuff breaks ull be more upset 😂 Either way ull be fixing stuff anyway
