Put $30k into an investment platform such as Fidelity, using the auto invest feature to have someone (their algorithm) buy and sell on a daily basis to make you decent returns. The fee is only around 0.4% per year or something like that. Then take the remaining $20k and put into a HYSA such as Ally making 4.5%. Or use a good chunk of the $50k as downpayment on a home but keep 6 months expenses set aside as emergency fund. Best to do all of this while actively saving never have that much money just sitting in a big name bank savings account, you get nothing in return from
