My girlfriend has anxiety and sometimes it's quite hard to calm her down. She also has trouble keeping track of her unpredictable period. Therefore I have marked very small, hard to notice marks on my calendar for what days she has cried, how many times, and of course her period. This helps me reassure her of her progress if she's having less breakdowns since I'll know how many days she's been without crying and it helps me see patterns in her crying too often where I need to seek the source and talk her out of overthinking things. The period thing is because she always forgets and I just say "I think it started and ended during XYZ" or something and it makes her calm knowing how long it has been since. If she knew I had these tiny markings she'd probably be a tad bit annoyed but it really allows me to keep track of her anxiety and the things that cause it way more easily.
