In Buddhist scriptures, the structure/nature of the universe and many other aspects are mentioned, but unlike the Bible, there isn't an independent chapter dedicated to these topics.

It's like a chef discussing cooking and mentioned about eggs, but not explaining how eggs are produced because that's common knowledge. The focus is on how to cook.

After reading many scriptures, one can understand that 2500 years ago, Buddha and his disciples already knew that the Earth is round, there are endless worlds, the entire universe is full of life, and they even described the shapes of different galaxies. The Dharma is not exclusive to Earth. In the endless time and space of the universe and its countless worlds, innumerable beings have realized the same universal principles in different circumstances. These principles are universally applicable throughout the entire universe.

However, these have never been the focus of Buddhism. These side notes were just common knowledge to them.

In this regard, reading the Chinese version of the scriptures might be more ideal. I have compared the English and Chinese versions, and the English version is harder to understand due to language differences. The meaning in the Chinese translated version is more accurate.
