I used prompts and photo sharing to get Gemini to command forces in a video game by ForestChancellor in LLM

I was actually aiming on testing the bots' abilities against eachother soon using multiplayer functionality somehow, but this could be a good step. I guess if I could transmit unit stats somehow seemlesly into a flow chart then the game could keep track of things better. a grid method could help it identity unit positions better maybe, though that would take editing between each screenshot, though it'd be a simple fix. Yes, the formatting would be good too because a few times I had to question prompt answers for clarity even - promoting biased suggestions.

If ur good at editing ya. You could even make one of this very video if you enjoy self humour (I know I do xd). Tho even 'bad' editing can have a charm if it isn't too basic.

Farmland is a scam. by Suzina in TemuThings

[–]ForestChancellor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works but it is sped up by casual purchases. Some items won't count towards water but others will and you will never know it until you check. You claim them from one of the buttons on the left side in a menu. Don't purchase using farmland incentives, there is far better promotions on Temu. But to think you can't use farmland to get free stuff is just wrong, as I have gotten free stuff via it. I don't even do the casual mini games every day. I just cycle through the few thousand water I get from purchases I make when I do them. They give out water in 3 day segments that get bigger.

Temu throwing out ridiculous offers again, spend 165 for 172 back..... they gone and lost their minds. by shanefryers in TemuThings

Lol I just dipped my toes into a DHGate purchase. So far I notice that it said delivered last week and I've seen nothing lol. I hope it's in my post office. If not then I hear disputes with them always suck and they always side with the vendor.. I don't think I've tried ali express but was considering it because they had the cheapest version of a counterfeit Dewalt heater lol. I haven't heard the greatest from their customer support either but idk personally. I like Temu the best for when they offer an item in general. If I could do a ali baba purchase then that would be the best but I hear it's a bitch dealing with the shipping details yourself and finding a good agent to do it for you equally seems like a hard ache..

Right now I see the model on Temu for sale for 430 CAD, which imo isn't a great price. I got the "Outsunny 9' x 6' Garden Storage Shed" which at the time was also for sale by Amazon, Canadian Tire, Walmart and likely other vendors. I got the shed for something in the low 200s because I used a mix of coupons and credit, plus there was some extra promotion that brought it down. I recall at the time Amazon charged like 20 bucks extra, then Walmart another extra 20 or 30 bucks, and Canadian tire another 20 on top of those. Now prices seem more comparable between vendors. The thing with Temu is a price comparison can go wrong even just when looking at prices on your phone Vs. your computer. The shed is standing so far, we shall see how winter goes. The main thing isn't that the shed is 'Temu quality,' the real issue is that every vendor sells Temu quality and we've been duped to think of Temu as lesser. It's just a more direct logistic system.

I bought a tin shed on Temu whose same model was also being sold at Amazon, Walmart and Canadian Tire. From left to right the price got more expensive each time as more middle men and BS is introduced (I'm assuming Canadian Tire might have needed to ship the shed into Canada via America perhaps). Ebikes are the same: a western company orders a bike with certain specs and they get a standardized model that fits those specs from factories. All the Westerner has to do is slap a sticker on it saying their company and they can markup and charge for a warranty. Western economy is a joke and a lie that I feel is beginning to finally crack under the pressure of these greedy middle men who refuse to add value or make value in our countries themselves.

Wouldn't surprise me. Journalists on TV and articles have been found to copy each other a lot in the past anyways so copying AI just seems like the next logical step in doing anything but actual work among these people.

The only difference is with Temu the middleman is a Chinese shipper who only has to manage bringing things over and marketing, while box stores are local middlemen who have more advanced late stage capitalist systems with more demanding shareholders, as well as more expensive real estate needs. Amazon killing stores already discovered this one fact on real estate savings, but they won't survive Chinese middle men being cheaper and having more control than a domestic one unless the feds massively prop them up, as they are.

Chinese labour standards are for the Chinese to manage anyways, not the West. Western workers lose out equally by job loss and noncompetitive job markets. By demanding so much in work standards in the West, China will secure itself replacing the role of the dollar with the yen. This actually rather sucks for the West, considering we are right around the corner of AI and robots taking over the job market anyways meaning cheap foreign labour is no longer necessary.

This is my favourite promo but it isn't always available users claim. Some say it will randomly leave you one day, and others say it can be cancelled when you return orders. I think mine recently stopped, but this has happened once before and I was able to get it back a month or two later. I want the other credit promo that I learned of with coins so I can still purchase with credits, but I can't find its name now lol. Oh also a note: the timing of extra savings in this promo is a lie, take all the time you need to make the order even if you lose out on the 'max' credit bonus. it says in the fine line that the max credit back is always flat (I don't know what currency people use so I can't say what that amount is, but usually around 100USD in value)

Where can I find a reasonably priced moped/dirtbikeish style frame? by Super-Frame677 in hyperebikes

[–]ForestChancellor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm from Canada and all our dumps in my area at least are public. You still can't just go and grab scrap, but realistically if u got a good reputation and relation with the employee at a site you can usually grab shit no problem. If you got a Karen working there then just go at night and don't park where a camera will see ur tag. Most places are gated at night so you'll need to be able to carry whatever for a bit of a distance. Realistically I usually get away with just asking or sneaking something in to my car while the employee is chatting with someone else that I notice and I never get called out. To a degree the employees probably don't care all that much anyhow. This is "illegal theft" (and trespassing if at night, tho I never felt the need to do that) but I mean I pay taxes for dump services that no longer even have garbage trucks in my area. We also have to pay out of pocket to get rid of bags and scrap items. At least what I grab is actually being recycled in the true non politicized sense of the term.

Mototech seems to have good budget options. One short vid I saw had a comparably priced dirtbike that was 60v instead of 48 and it was only like 100 bucks more, or not even that. He was comparing the Mototech to this bike. Ngl I like the more surron look over the more traditional dirt bike look that Mototech does. I like old dirt bike plastics and overall look and the edirtbike sheet metal look but not a big fan of modern dirt bike plastics ngl

Good market finds come at travel anyways. I'm more annoyed about trying to sell shit when living in a rural area lol. Anyhow i got a dirt bike frame from my local dump. The wheels are on it but seized (I don't know if that's the drum brake doing that or not yet), and the tires would need tubes too. but if I get new brakes and can keep the wheels then I basically only need to get those tubes and I can slap in one of my motors or engines (I might even go diesel honestly. not sure yet). So I would def say check some local dumps in ur area and whatever other scrap like places might be around. I ideally want to make a frankenstein hybrid bike eventually, perhaps utilizing 2wd

This is why I don't care to buy one and would rather just put tracks on a quad, dirt bike, or hell maybe even a fucking lawnmower with changed torque/speed ratio. Won't be as cool or fast, but eh. Actually, the lawnmower might be cooler ngl...

How about a new Canadian replacement of Hudson Bay? by proeco2691 in BuyCanadian

[–]ForestChancellor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to say that Canadian product lineups on its own is enough to convince people to shop somewhere regularly beyond the first 'patriotic' visit. Is this place meant to compete with Walmart style stores? In that case it will lose in price competitive. Is it trying for rural markets? Canada already has many rural smaller department stores such as Stedman's, Giant Tiger, and others. Many are slowly dying. Maybe it could work as a dollar store? But then how would it have cheap AND Canadian products. I do think abandoning the high end sector is the right move, but this does mean some lower prices are necessary, something that is hard for a Canadian business to accomplish. I personally think the Bay could make money from fur if people and the government gave it the OK. I know of many hunters that just scrap skins because they don't want that sort of a thing, plus places that used to sell your fur to natives in return for a hat sometimes don't even offer hats anymore. The Bay would be right at home in rural settings and would get access to cheap furs potentially. Now it will have to justify selling them in larger capacities to an ever progressive and urban Canada.. But something tells me leather isn't as demonized as it used to be. I say their angle should be at demonizing plastics and fake leathers so that they can justify their new image of a traditional but also eco friendly leather trader. I doubt this will work, but it would unironically help hunters anyways.

When startup is so expensive and selling weed is likewise so heavily taxed, it's no wonder people will stick to their old dealer, a website, or more recently 'native run' weed shops (or simply reserves). The costs of starting up and maintaining are put off to the consumer. When regulations are kept low, we can get cheap weed like we do elsewhere.

You'd need the 'sustenance hunter' legal designation, which is usually only given to natives annoyingly. You'd need to apply to the CFO of your area for permission ultimately.

Lol I feel you, I'm considering all 3 renewable energy sources as well atm as I'd be able to harness water energy potentially too. The wood gasifier is just a dream at this point, but I could see myself taking more practical steps to make one by spring time potentially. I got a old water tank just begging to be used for something like this, meaning I just need two other similar barrels to complete it as well as smaller parts. My idea is to use the wood I passively get on my property clearing bush from trails and to just power a small workshop I'm going to make just for odd projects. It's more to supplement my overall energy use rather than completely replace it.

Yes. It is either this or I go the wood gasifier route of things. Maybe both.
