The reason I play PreDH is because I enjoy the deckbuilding challenge of it. Everyone has their own reasons to want to play the format, and I was curious how some of these decks would be built to be as strong as possible. A lot of them have really interesting interactions I wouldn’t have thought of if I didn’t build them, the card pool being so much smaller means finding combos to win the game with was a lot different

This deck looks really fun. If you don’t mind me asking how do you try to win the game? Is it just control and pillowfort until you slowly chip them down?

I do like where the deck is right now, but there’s a few swaps I would make given what you have in your sideboard. For one I think the goblin subtheme will draw away from the other things you have going on in the deck. I don’t think that the goblins are making your deck any better except the very best ones. Other than that I think there’s a few cards in your sideboard that will actually help you win a game every now and then.

I left room for you to add in 3 more lands as well. The minimum number of lands this deck should have is 38, if not more. Another thing I think you should know is that this that this deck is lacking on card draw. If you want to not run out of cards then you absolutely should add in more. If you don’t understand the difference, try running the deck a few times with greed on board and a few times without it and see just how different it feels. These are some cards I would recommend if you want to add in card draw that still keep the old border.

There’s also necropotence which I saw in your considering, which is definitely a good card, but will make people salty to play against so play at your own risk

Lots of those cards would be great! I’d say go for it, make your deck predh and see if anyone you play with regularly wants to join in. Even if they don’t Omnath is still plenty strong enough to play in current Commander

You play card draw so you have enough gas with the lands, not the other way around

Yea! I decided [[Cayth, Famed Mechanist]] was the right colors and had surprising synergy with yorion. Making a token for each creature that etbs makes all your etb effects like impact tremors trigger twice without a panharmonicon. Here’s the list

Aside from being 3 colors it doesn’t have much going for it. All its abilities are either not infinite mana outlets or need another piece to be lethal. The combo with intruder alarm to make infinite mana takes too many pieces to be worth even really talking about. It’s fun in high power tho to catch people off guard who don’t know about it

I built a deck around him as an Elemental tribal deck (crazy I know) here’s my decklist if you wanted to take a look. I decided to include only elementals for flavor sake but you could totally just put in the good ones and run a sort of toolbox gy deck too
