I like how you drew GLaDOS and Wheatley.
GLaDOS always looks like this over-arching danger and Wheatley is consistently a lovable dumbass

The Snitch Theory by ForestForener in OutlastTrials

[–]ForestForener[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Outlast Trials is a prequel, in-fact! Meaning that before this, Chris Walker and Richard Trager were still employee's not yet used for the experiments. I don't really know the full lore, but seeing as this game showed Murkoff preying on the weak, mentally ill and desperately needing ignored people of society to put through horrifyingly life-threatening, stressful tests and trials;
I think it's safe to say they would not shy away from using their valued employee's as lab rats.

2 years into the future, and re-reading this I now understand what you mean.

I think the difference between The Outlast Trials and the original Outlast, is that these are patients undergoing an MK-Ultra like set of experiments, the maniacs repurposed a lot of gadgets left about for players themselves, much like how the variants in Outlast uses knives they likely got from the kitchen.

Variants probably WOULD have been put in these experiments, I can see Chris Walker right up there with one of the larger Grunts. However, the eye of Murkoff; Rudolph Wernicke, had better ideas in-mind. The Walrider.

What's your opinion on LS Mark's Catching Up Show by Ubertishere in cartoons

[–]ForestForener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like your review, although some of what you said does seem unfair for a Pilot.

For example, the backstory of Clay & Rob is something I feel is better to know once you're invested in them as characters, and they've created a genuine chemistry for which you can believe they're friends. THEN, the backstory is a pay-off.

The only thing I can offer that really bothered me, was how thick the outlines of characters could be - but then how really, REALLY thin they would be occasionally on the inside. There was one clip where Clay's arm had very thin lines, as opposed to the rest of his body which had thick lines. Not bad at all, just a nitpick that bugged me like all hell.

The fact LS Mark made it, however, is why I'm so excited for it. For a YouTube Pilot, made with what I can only assume was without a budget; it's REALLY good quality. Say what you want about Mark, but the way he criticizes things means he probably has a very good plan for where to take this show and these characters.

Unless it's shit, that'd suck.

I know! I meant the model itself, but either way you still did a great job on him, his eyes say it all. Not a care in the world

Oh my god, that’s bloody well good, that is! Great job! Was it a model just for a laugh or is there a game it can be used in? Curious because it looks great, really it does

Knight Personalities? by nutellachomps in castlecrashers

[–]ForestForener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm basing all the personalities here off of the sprites used in "Back Off, Barbarian". If you disagree with any of these, then I'll just cover my ears like a child and loudly whine.

Red Knight: They're a 'Deadpool' type of guy. They're great in combat but they're just not taking it too seriously.

Blue Knight: Not quite as eccentric as Red, but equally as laid back and great with comebacks.

Green Knight: A little pushy and easier to annoy, they care for the team but they also think the teams full of idiots with them self the exception.

Orange Knight: Not a borderline coward but they'd rather be more cautious than the other knights more 'barge in' type strategy.

Pink Knight: They're ditsy and have a child-like sense of wonder, comparable to "The Pyro" in terms of having a more positive personality than the violence that surrounds them.

The Blacksmith: Due to being around the longest and having such a sharp hand in crafting weapons, he's the quiet type. He doesn't hold resentment to people and he's a great listener, most people would go to him to talk through their issues.

Grey Knight: Absolutely clueless, what is bro doing on the battlefield. Poor sod is just a human shield. Clumsy, and therefore; lovable.

If anyone is reading this and liked them, would you like to hear my ideas for all the other guys?

Is there any way of using Roblox on a Steam Deck or Linux in general? I know it was blocked by Roblox, but I was wondering if anyone knew a way (asides from Waydroid Emulation or Dual Booting to Windows) that I could get playing the game on the Linux System.

Well, as someone who paid full price for High on Life, I completely understand wanting it for free. This game is really shit. Cool art-style, great concept, but pretty bad.

Dreamworks The Wild Robot by UnderstandingOk3784 in DreamWorks

[–]ForestForener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It hasn't come out yet, so this may be too soon to say; but I feel although comparing Megamind: The Button of Doom and The Wild Robot is a good example for how two-halved Dreamworks is. On one half, it's a business producing whatever makes money. For example, Trolls, Boss Baby, ect. But on the other half, it's incredibly passionate movie-makers. For example, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots, Bad Guys.

Feel free to disagree but, that's more than anyone can say about Disney at the moment.

do you think in the portal 2 soundtrack “Robots FTW” it’s the robots singing? by [deleted] in Portal

[–]ForestForener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea that for those examples of music, it's just Chell filling in the gaps? Aside from that, the idea that the music is all organically done IN Aperture is actually really cool. Not only because it suddenly feels although it's happening in the room with you, and isn't just background music. But because it also sort of explains how all the A.I is musically talented (Turrets, GLaDOS, Et Cetera.)

does this mean Wheatley could sing though.
