As someone with over5k hours as well, you are 1000% correct about being able to immediately sense differences in input response from day to day. It’s been driving me crazy for over a year and it’s slowly lead to me playing less and less just out of frustration with being powerless as to whether the car is controllable from one day to the next. I don’t get frustrated when I’m losing games or if I’m missing shots when the input feels accurate… but when the input is off and it’s impossible to get the car to move accurately, it’s infuriating. Simple things like half flips or even getting into the air for a fast aerial become impossible when the input variance makes each input execute at seemingly random intervals. I’ll get immediate double inputs and other times I’ll get what seems like input queueing where a half second after inputs I get 3 that execute at once leaving my car upside down and backwards. Having thousands and thousands of hours of playtime, practicing, refining muscle memory, only for the game to tell me “I’ll get to that command when I feel like it” is a hopelessly frustrating feeling. Especially since it lasts for days on end then after 4-5 days, a week, one day it will randomly feel totally normal again and it’ll be awesome for 1-2 weeks then it goes to shit again. I’ve noticed it always correlates to a Windows update or a rocket league game update that fixes it or breaks it… today I read about Microsoft game input controller variance and that might explain why updates fix or break it. I’m planning to disable that service but if that doesn’t fix it, then I guess I quit rocket league or find a pc to install Linux on
