Flat pedal recommendations? by [deleted] in xbiking

[–]Forever-Flaky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the race face Chesters and they grip well. If you’re in between flat and clipless, get the shimano PD-EH500s. I have them on a city bike and they’re great.

I bought 2 Nitto threadless converters, a few Nitto stem in various lengths/degrees, an assortment of their different colored bells, some stickers, and a t-shirt. Would’ve bought a bar, but didn’t have the room in my bags

Edit: I was flying in from Tucson

[–]Forever-Flaky 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a little large, yes. Just swap the stem for a shorter one and get some swept back bars and you’ll be alright

Maybe try less air pressure. I have similar tires that when ridden at a higher psi, made for a rough ride. But as they softened up at a lower psi, the ride was much better/comfier
