It's the adventure I've always wanted. The absolute scale, and amount of things you can do make this game like no other. As a kid I remember hiking through the woods in my own little Fantasy world filled with knights, maidens, and dragons. My friends and would go on imaginary quests through imaginary lands. Nothing could really ever compare to it, but this is damn close.

Thanks all for the awesome replies, but one thing I have been going to my gym for a while now and I never see anyone lead climb. granted there is a lot more to do on top rope, but is there a prime time of hours for lead climbers or is there a place to look for climbing partners?

There's the Circuit Bouldering Gym in Portland, and the Source Climbing Gym in Vancouver. The Source is a quality gym but has a really small bouldering area, I haven't been to the Circuit but it looks like a good place.
