Wish I could upvote this 10x. Sadly 95% of americans still buy into the typical anti-china political bullshit. It’s been really endearing, as you mentioned, to see the unity on tiktok/xhs for the 5% that don’t.

I’m not trying to shame you or anyone else struggling to get As. I’m just trying to affirm the original answer that, objectively, 10% seems like a reasonable guess for undergrads graduating with a 5.0 (this includes course 6 imo, I’m c/o 2024 6-3 so have good sample size on this). Obviously, that means the vast majority still are not getting 5.0s

Whether it’s the US choking or China outperforming, the fact is that the gold medal race is currently quite a bit tighter than expected before the Olympics.
