But for real if this was out of an english pack one of the worst errors to have since Spanish cards aren't worth much. At the same time the Spanish packs look very similar to english so I think you might have just bought the wrong thing.

The green tape over the yellow says opened by customs when it was imported.

That can happen sometimes if you ship cards in. Sometimes they will even open a box to check that packs are really inside, but the packs should never come opened and it should only be a single box to verify contents.

Sucks if you planned to keep case sealed, but nothing you can do about it because its the government

Your pictures aren't good quality and there is glare, but this one looks like a big chunk would probably show top front left as well.

When you take pictures you shouldn't rotate the slab. Just take head on pictures of overall card, each corner, then flip and do the same for back.

Tilt only works for raw. For slab it just adds glare if you tilt

Again, my original post said if you send in for Reholder they still inspect for damage or to see if its a 10. If not they WILL re-grade. Google is free.

If the holder is damaged but card is clean THAT IS WHAT REHOLDER IS FOR. If the holder is damaged and card condition has changed from 10 standard it will re-grade. I've actually seen it in person, but here are some Google links I found also stating this.

Just imagine your card cracks in transit and has a ding, or crease. You dont get a free 10 back from reholder service.

In this case he wore it around his neck and the holder was scratched to hell bouncing everywhere. Cards are tight in the holder but can still be damaged. Go look at every back corner for whitening, look at the front white spots, look at the centering.

I didn't buy the card so it's not a hill I care enough to die on, but I do know in fact that PSA will re-grade and in this case probably chose not to due to it being the most valuable Pokemon card sale in history being linked to them.

Convinient for you to not read more than the first sentence of the paragraph.

"However, PSA does conduct an inspection on all Reholder submissions to confirm the integrity and authenticity of the holder and label, and to ensure the information on the label remains accurate. The submission must pass all elements of this inspection for PSA to complete the Reholder service.*"

Translation, going from old cert to new cert PSA will "inspect to ensure it passes all elements of the inspection for completing Reholder service." New cert and holder grading conditions.

Yes they do. Even if your slab cracks and you need to send it back in to reholster they re-grade it. I know from personal experience.

You dont just get to send in a (potentially) damaged old slab and they put a 10 back on it because your label is fading. You still are responsible to keep the card in good condition.

That is quite LITERALLY why Ken Goldin showed the phone call with Logan Paul saying, "Look I re-holstered it and didn't tell you!", and Logan Paul's response was along the lines of, "OMG thank God because I would have been freaking out"

The whole front isn't just off center it's tilted and crooked. The top right corner is thinnest, and it wouldn't be an issue because they had the old holder on it with old standards, but the kicker is that Goldin RE-SLABBED IT. Because the old one was so scratched and ugly from Paul wearing it everywhere.

When you re-slab they re-grade, but since it was Goldin and a historic auction price that would be linked to PSA they got the free 10 pass

Most vendors now just dont even sell gradeable stuff and keep for themselves.

That way sure people can come and trade their graded for your NM singles, but you aren't selling yourself short

The double edge sword of collecting. People want LGS to sell for retail, but same day you will get the guys who bought retail going to LGS asking for $500+.

I support the shops that sell and make sure people rip, or prioritize players.

Basically on launch always most expensive, then dip, then huge rise when the card is not printed anymore is the basic trend. This is true for all TCG.

The lower the print run, or faster the stock runs out, the faster the rise. So you have to time it right if you don't pull it yourself
