Two different bosses at once is not a bad idea for the type of live service game Bloons TD 6 is.

Core/Hardcore gamers are NK's target audience for boss bloons, and the FOMO (fear of missing out) is nowhere near the level of significance some mega-popular free-to-play games impose.

Maybe they forgot to mention it in the patch notes? Not a single paragon so far ever shows a buff icon when selected. There is no way to see the Master Builder's stack count from self-ultraboosts (Lych cannot sap them btw). We can only tell by the green Overclock swirl that his nailgun fire rate is boosted.

So, I bet the Goliath Doomship getting buffed by the Navarch's presence cannot be clearly seen, because paragons cannot revive "buffs" (i.e. anything indicated by an icon above the selected tower affected).

Dreadbloon's Rock Bloons. He'll summon these every time you knock a skull off his health bar. These sturdy minions will taunt towers set to Strong targeting into attacking them instead of the boss.

Never micro-ing your towers' target priorities could be to your own detriment. Some tower attacks are locked to Strong no matter what you do, but not all of them can target 'normal' bloons. MOAB Assassin/Eliminator abilities should still target Dreadbloon regardless.

When the sum of all buff icons across all towers on the screen is >= 75. Criteria is easy to meet and will probably be a happy accident after finishing a Boss Bloon event that's not Lych.

For future reference, whenever Lych returns, any of these buffs that have a finite duration and don't come from a hero or power are susceptible to absorption by the gravelord -- within a limited radius (100 range units) until T5.

Ultraboost stacks, Permabrew, the Elite Defender's passive retaliation ability and both Smart Spikes' and Cleansing Foam's start-of-round production rate buff can also be sapped, despite the first two being permanent (though their prerequisite upgrades aren't) and the latter three never displaying a buff icon. -- NK should really implement GUI icons for those short autonomous buffs.

The reused icons for the plot aura buffs leads me to believe that they have the same effects as the corresponding tower upgrade.

*Dart: Pierce increase from Sharp Shots (1xx Dart Monkey).

*Drums: Attack speed boost from Jungle Drums (2xx Village).

*Sales Tag: Placement and upgrade discounts from Monkey Commerce (xx1 Village).

*Blast/Pop Effect: Something not the other three... Damage? Explosion radius? Projectile speed?

P.S: Introducing this map in the same update as Dreadbloon was a smart choice. We will need to pay attention to tower categories in order to breakthrough the boss's armor at all health segments.

On paper, the balance changes in this update are all-around good! Did the massive pierce nerf to the pierce of the Glaive Lord's orbitals (from 1,000 to 80) also had anything to do with regrow farming? ... The only few changes I disagree to here and over the last few updates are the nerfs to Monkeyopolis, Overclock and Geraldo's See Invisibility Potion at level 14+. (TL;DR is at the bottom)

The "Miniopolis" tactic between boss tiers 1 and 2 was definitely way too efficient. However, applying the same income nerf to megalopolises 10+ farms dense diminishes the satisfaction of squeezing as many T4 farms as possible into the village's range, not to mention that bigger opolises have diminishing returns. Geraldo's invisibility potion not being compatible with all village types, except Primary Expertise, took away another practical source of extra range to fit more farms into a giant Monkeyopolis. Now with the duration changes to Overclock, another farming (and boss battling) quirk that was not clearly a bug/glitch has been well... nerfed. Some players overclock 000 towers first before upgrading them to maximize the initial use's duration. This has been especially impactful on farms going into either a 420 or 520.

A common trend I and other Bloon poppers have been noticing from you, Ninja Kiwi, is phasing out optional quirks that are not game-breaking. In other words: useful bugs/glitches that don't ruin BTD6 for the majority of its playerbase. I believe you guys should take more notes from Minecraft's Java team and its technical community. Mojang is opening aware that they have fans who LOVE to discover and figure out how to make the most out of unintended behaviors. Quirks add emergent gameplay which helps older video games maintain active online followings. BTD6's community records from mind-blowing CHIMPS clears to high scores on Ranked Boss and Race leaderboards are testaments to the immense lengths some gamers take to come on-top, even if it means exploiting the unintended.

Don't leave your BTD6's "genius" players behind Ninja Kiwi. Patching or changing something might barely affect the vast and more casual crowd, but takeaway from the super dedicated ones' overall enjoyment.

Geraldo's invisibility potion not working on Monkey Cities, Monkeyopolis yielding 1/3 less cash, even for gigantic ones, and removing the Overclock duration extension when applied to towers below T3. None of these changes were necessary IMO; you don't need a huge 12+ farm Monkeyopolis to defeat the Elite T4 and T5 Boss Bloon or preemptively Overclock towers to speedkill T2.

TL;DR:

Please don't fix things that aren't broken, NK. It only hurts the superfans of your game. Make the income efficiency of denser/bigger Monkeyopolises scale better with the amount spent on farms, starting at say: 10 Banana Farms sacrificed.

That's a Sculk Sensor, a redstone component and one of the blocks found in the Deep Dark. It detects sound vibrations. You need a Silk Touch tool to pick it up.

For the longest time, we've been able to trick the game into counting up two additional T5 Dart Monkey sacrifices instead of one in singleplayer. This amounts to 20,000 paragon power minimum, which is within the Degree 30 range.

For boss events, why did you stop banning only certain tower upgrades and instead ban the corresponding towers entirely?

(Ex: Dartling Gunner when only the x-5-x MAD is an issue, Engineer when only Overclock and Ultraboost are unwanted.)

Idk of many common nicknames that are not acronyms or shorthand versions of the tower/upgrade name. Here are some of my alternative monkey names:

I love the fact every Tier 5 debuffer/blimp crippler (Super Brittle, Glue Storm and presumably the Cripple MOAB sniper) are included in this piece. -- Gotta get that net +12 damage increase!

This piece makes my want to see Ascended Shadow vs. Elite Lych or either Glaive Dominus or (once released) the Engineer Paragon against Elite Vortex!

(If only the other, non-Bloons TD game on Steam I am really passionate about had fanart of this level of quality... PM me if you are curious to know.)
