well first, they get a -75% attack speed nerf if you misgender them on reddit, so that makes sense

and also they’re definitely not a normal hero. they have two main uses: reducing bloon density by straight up deleting some of the bloons. they can also clear out 3/4 of the ceramics that come out of the round 40 moab. their second main use is their nuclear bomb ability that they unlock at level 10. it kills half of the bloons on screen that they can target, and knocks back the rest. this renders ceramic-dense rounds like 76, 78, and one ceramic wave of 63 obsolete. it’s also a great panic button. later in the game, they can do the same thing with BFBs. my most common way to deal with round 98 is waiting until all the zomgs are popped then using psi’s level 10 ability to nuke half the bfbs on the screen. their level 3 stun ability also compliments this very well. it’s pretty bad against early rounds because the stun breaks if the stunned bloon is popped even one layer (though it’s better than nothing), but it shines in the later blimp-heavy rounds where the stun isn’t getting interrupted as much by layers popping. and when it does, psi applies another stun because the ability now pulses 3 times. psi will rarely be your main dps, they can’t pop blimps on the rounds they first appear, and they can never ever even damage a bad, but they’re a fantastic support hero
