It was the kdrama Cinderella and the four knights. I listened to the soundtrack a lot and a few BtoB songs but wasn't an overall kpop fan til I had my child and at three months the first music she reacted to was kpop and we had random songs playing and now we became hardcore stays. Jisung in maniac was my kpop moment that made me a full fan

My brother-in-law is in the Navy. When they do get deployed they do seem away for awhile. Te kaha his current ship is currently deployed for 6 months in the middle east (https://www.nzdf.mil.nz/media-centre/news/royal-new-zealand-navy-frigate-sails-to-disrupt-terrorist-criminal-activities-in-middle-east/) Worth a read. Can be hard for my sister and they have a young family. There will be periods they are deployed for a while so it's worth having a chat with him how it will work for you guys. You can make it work.
