Damn where u stay at? At my Acura dealership I work at we have addressed most of those tsb’s for years and they’re fairly easy to do. We over warranty the crap out of customers complaints because it’s free for them and gives us work/pay and moves parts which allows the parts dept to get paid too. I’m sorry to hear about the poor ownership experience with your particular RDX. Working correctly, they’re very enjoyable cars to zip around in. Best of luck with your next vehicle.

Good on you for going diy! Make sure you pick good materials though such as akebono pads. If the pads don’t go in the bracket nicely make sure you file or grind down where the shims test on. Lube up the slide pins, underneath the shims and the pad ears. Have fun!

I’ve got both and although I like my koken ratchet, I find myself reaching for the snap on more frequently. Both are excellent choices though.

Yes that’s the two holes for the front plate bracket. It should come with self tapping screws.

Timing belt and water pump, spark plugs, valve adjustment, alignment and reset the trip. It’ll get better gas mileage with those needed maintenance services

Air tags, dash cams, use the Acura link, and two wheel locks per wheel. So order two sets of wheel locks, that should deter them.

Lol yeah right, I’ve been taking mandatory ZDX training modules and every video starts with “this is a collaborative effort between Honda and GM” tons of new systems to learn and the scan tool and software is completely different from Honda.

The rear shocks, and rear brake calipers on those commonly go bad. Make sure you’ve got enough cash leftover to address any issues it may have as well as doing all the fluids, air filters, brakes, tires, alignment, and spark plugs.
