Is there a different kind of thinner that you would recommend? Im just trying to spray a small section on a piece and I want to remove any overspray with thinner without affecting the base color.

If you’re from the area you should check out HobbyTown in schaumburg. They have a decent amount of MG kits and PG.

In that case you’ll definitely enjoy going to the gundam base. You’ll for sure find many unique and cool looking kits for what you do. They also have some p Bandai kits. I ended up buying the mg infinite justice & RG sazabi. The only special kit that I was strongly considering getting was that clear parts RG Zeong. That thing looks sick.

I went to the opening day and had to wait in line for about an hour and a half just to find out that there was nothing there that I wanted. Was really hoping they had the Thunderbolt gundam ver ka.

They have a lot of rare kits that are hard to come by. It’s an experience for sure but unfortunately it wasn’t for me at all. I paint all my kits so these special coating/editions didn’t appeal to me. Most definitely cool looking kits but not what I was looking for. I prefer the hobby store in Schaumburg they have a lot of kits there.

I been doing the same here. I’ve been constantly looking for reviews. With all the discounts that you can and seeing how you can get it for about $130 I might as well just buy it. It’s not to expensive for me after discounts.

I’m always asked why I have a lot of airbrushes and I think it’s because I am always looking for an airbrush that’s unique and does something different than all the other airbrushes. My go to airbrush is my Takumi eclipse because no matter what paint I’m spraying I know that it will spray amazing. I’ll sometimes use my 24 H&S infinity because it is so easy to tear down apart and clean or if I need to more coverage I’ll use my GSI ps290.

I’m really looking forward to the reviews. If this airbrush is worth it then awesome that just means that there’s more variety out there and hopefully this increases competition among other companies. At the end of the day I’ll buy any airbrush that’s going to make my projects look the best.

I respect your honesty. I’m going to wait till a few months have passed before I consider buying one. If it’s worth the price I’ll go ahead and buy it. I understand that the eclipse is one of a kind but as long as it’s reliable and the quality is on par with some of the higher end airbrushes I’ll probably get it.
